  1. You own a nice vehicle which you no doubt paid a fair bit of coin for. Why wouldnt you use a setup like Dice that Yuen recommended? Clean, simple installation that shows the artists, track names and playlists that are being played on your factory stereo. And under $200 is cheap considering the vehicle you own!
  2. Well done Yuen! That exactly what you should get Aaron. Im guessin the site's Americian? With the $ so good atm the price will be pretty good.
  3. We would all make useless detectives! Dont know how you got it past us, once you have a decent look that selotape sticks out like a sore thumb.
  4. Wow, seems like alot of trouble not to mention $ to run an ipod. What type of stereo do you have? Factory? and in the X5? Normally all you stereo needs to have is an aux in. You'll need a 2rca - 3.5mm stereo cable and youre away.
  5. Ha ha, was waiting for that one, and it only took 2 posts! Only a kiwi would think of doing such a thing.....
  6. Ha ha, I think you mean CYNICAL!
  7. ooooh a pink one. Now does'nt that look pretty
  8. Nah, asked them that They just say you park at your own risk! Covering their ass
  9. Mate I know exactly how you feel! 2 weeks ago I went to the supermarket to get a couple things. Parked 300m from the door at the other end of the carpark (where no one parks). Came out 20 mins later to find my car had been hit. Bumper pushed in 40mm and twisted big time. Paint scraped off the bumper and tail light smashed. F#(KING PI$$ED! I dont have any idea how some idiot could have done this. When you see the photos of where I parked you'll see what I mean. 3rd time ive been hit in 4 months! And whats more annoying is that I had recently had my bumpers re-painted due to the last tickle up. If I had the space at home Id definatly get a cheap runabout.

  14. Hi Alan Welcome to the shuddering e36 club! Mines doing the same thing. I start the car, the revs drop to about 500 the engine shudders and revs increase to 1000 or so before dropping again. I know of other people who have the same problem! I actually spoke to a BMW Tech yesterday about it and from what ive been told its normally the throttle control valve which is under the inlet manafold. Either give it a clean out or replace it. Im going to look at getting mine fixed in the next month or so. In the mean time when you start the car just put you foot on the accelerator a little to stop it dropping to the low revs. Id appreciate others input on this too. Cheers Brett
  15. Agreed! Photos and a run down would be good to great
  16. Wholey! Thats one way to make ya way thru the field...
  17. What did you end up with? Yr? Km's? Man or auto? $?
  18. ha ha, fair enough. Buying stuff off ebay is good at the moment as the US dollar is pretty close to ours. Wont cost that much!
  19. Yip, you can get grills for subs. Just do a search on the net for the type of sub you have. Im getting a nice Alpine 10" one for mine for the same reason.
