Can someone with an E36 let me know if the analogue clock has a light to illuminate it, obviously when dark? Simple yes/no will confirm that a bulb has blown behind mine. Thanks in advance

yip, a whole lot better! Have them in my is coupe but in the nice dark blue colour. You should try to get some that colour. The grey's a bit bland.

I just cant seem to fathom what all the fuss is about an E30! I love the shape, look etc of an Mtech or M3 (definatly not a stock standard one) but why are they so fun to drive? Not trying to offened anyone thats for sure but can someone please tell me the +'s over an E36? Obviously only people who own or have owned both can help out. I would have thought newer is better????? I'd love to drive one!

Ha ha, was waiting for this one after a recent thread turned into a debate. I own an E36 but am not bias in any way. I do agree with Crockett thou on his "straight swap" scenario. As far a M3's go, its the E30 hands down!
