I hate brake dust, have never found it hard to clean off though. Warm water, car wash and a brush, even just the hose and a brush gets it off.

Imo, it's a little bit cheap of toyota considering window price was paid, but it is only a corolla. I researched into them because I had and still do have two on my car when I got it. As said above, they seem to be an 'ok' standard tyre / one of the better cheap ones. If I had ling longs / triangles or some other unknown brand on my car when I got it I would of removed them.

The current bid is 'within 15% of the reserve price'. So i'm guessing the reserve is $3000 but who knows. In terms of trade-me rules there is no sale unless the reserve is met. If the seller wants to offer it to the highest bidder despite the reserve not being met and they already have the highest bidders contact details that is up to them.

It does look nice, be interesting to see what it sells for. Maybe someone on here has checked it out already? Not trying to make you worry, but I guess buying a car without viewing it is hit and miss, I have considered it before. However I would never do it, especially after going to view a car which the owner told me over the phone had 'no visible rust', what a joke that was. Ps That's quite a large signature photo ^

At first I thought it was so that it could be mounted upside down so no one knows what the real plate is. Maybe it is just so it can be read in rear view mirrors

I did something similar recelty not a bimmer but this skyline.. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=625630117 Auction says 'CAM-Chain Driven (no cambelt)', I emailed them and said it is not chain driven it has a timing belt. They replied and said it is chain driven and please call if interested. I replied and said it is not chain driven, the car has an RB25DE motor which is belt driven. No response, still listed as chain driven. Reminds me why I don't usually bother.

If it is truly mint and the fact it has an lsd I would guess about $4k +/- 500. Converted to manual $5k + It is cliche but at the end of the day it is what someone is prepared to pay. E30 prices seem to have a broad scope. I sold my mint 320i auto a couple of years ago for $3.5k, I have seen a mint 320i manual sell for $6k, while other clean 320i manuals sit on trade me for $3250 ish. I am waiting to see if the nz new 325i se manual that sold on trademe the other day pops up on this forum. It looked fairly clean, had a buy now of $3500. I was going to look at it the next morning but it sold that night. Sold in less than 24 hours.

Sounds like that is the way to go. They are looking for a good condition reliable daily driver, newness is not really an issue. So how does the e32 7 series compare to the e34 in terms of reliability etc or are they pretty much on par with each other?
-
I know someone looking for a 5 or 7 series with $3-4k to spend. I have some idea of the e34 5 series and know how cheap they are at the moment. But how does the e34 compare to the newer 5 series and how does the 5 series compare to the 7 series? What would you recomend for a $3-4k budget? in terms of reliability, low maintenance cost etc.

Would their be a difference in the tuning of the radar between usa and nz? not sure just wondering

Depends on the car. Over 6 is out of the question.

Looking for an e30 325i manual in the north island, let me know what you have got. Cheers.

There are wear sensors on the front left and rear right wheels. New sensors are about $15. Or you can wire them together to make a closed circuit and the light will go out.

Am after an e30 white glove box torch. I think the white e36 ones also fit? Not worried if it doesn't work, planning to convert it to LED
