AzonicNick replied to bekker's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
What about in Auckland? I will need one in the near future -
That's the one! I drove past and looked in, was in mine. Spotted somebody looking out at it. You maybe? Wish mine was manual!

Spotted a silver e36 with a red leather interior and a bimmersport sticker on the side. Upland road shops, last week one night. Has 16" non M bmw wheels Seen it around a fair bit, manual i think?

Was a good fun day Here are the results.. Im pretty happy with them when compared to a few other auto M52 2.8s I've managed to find (100kw +/- 10kw). Anything I should be worried about here? A BS dyno day would be sweet, get some of the race cars there too
-
Looks like ill be happy with over 90kw at the wheels, up to 105 if im lucky depending on how healthy it is. Next mod.. M3

Ive just sent Nick Antons number and asked him to ring or text him to check if there are any spots left. I cant wait to see how many horses have escaped over the years in my car haha
-
Having the tow hook on the front of my car makes it look awesome haha. I doubt youll win the wooden spoon! Your 205 is amazing man Cya there

Hey all, the film print has come off my bonet badge and the car looks a bit naked without it For a e36 coupe but Im pretty sure they are all the same. Want a mint one, might try the dealerships too Thanks!

Such awesome wheels. Very very nice
-
Looks really tidy. Is it NZ new or a import? just noticed the plate recess.
-
Peter your car is awesome eh, I usually hate aftermarket wheels on the e36 but the red and gold combo just pops so well My mate with a red s15 thinks its really cool haha. We will do this again in a couple of months. Im keen to get my hands on a DSLR in the near future. all about the sunroofs haha
-
Looking good boys! I must get my camera back up and running, maybe some new wheels while im at it haha Ill add daves pics to this thread when I get them from him, usually he is pretty good with the ol camera We'll def do it again when its nice and warm!

are all tourings facelifts?

Taking the wheels off and putting the standard wheels make the market of buyers much wider. But I being that low would also be a problem here, jacking it back up probably costs a bit. Maybe just leave it how it is, a bit pointless dumped on standard wheels too, hold out on price for as long as you can. I wouldnt go near a car dumped on wheels like that because i assume it has no service history and has been thrashed and so on.. Good luck with the sale..

Awesome 205, im a fan! I even like the bastard child 309 GTIs but thats a bit of a secret
-
Some early 328i M models came with a factory LSD so might be worth having a look for a ratio similar to that?
-
Nice work, always rewarding after a good hunt. I paid a little premium to get into mine but it was most defiantly worth it. Having a tidy example is good!

Post up on vask.org.nz Manual UR s4/s6 are very very rare. So probably pretty expensive if you manage to find the parts. Audi S cars are all good! you cant tell me a S3 isnt a little rocket, as performance orientated as say a 135i M

Ive got a Bcom degree haha, its popular degree for sure just make sure you push for the right jobs and you should be all good. Spotted a BMW (i think) with the plate BPROP a few days back lol Re plates still have the obviously german plates on my car, have had a cop follow me through the drive through and they didnt notice/do anything. I figure im safe as long as I dont drive like a hoon. If i get finned Ill pay it, its worth it, look much nicer than the standard kiwi plates.
