Yea can't wait for the nak to go in! Hopefully it's all good as I havnt seen it running. No manual swap haha, m3 m3 but you know that. Front speakers are the next thing. Then sub. Got to do some research on what fits uner the factory covers.

Spent a little bit of time putting in my aux cable. None of it showing at all. Didnt want to put it in the glovebox, worried it will fall apart if i open it enough times seeing how fragile they are. Cable is long enough to pass to the passengers in the back if they want to DJ it up Now need to wait for the harness to show up. Cant wait Where is it? There it is..

I wasnt thinking at the time Nick lol. I had another pull apart yesterday. I want to be ready to put it all together when the harness arives. Ive had the OBC and small storage bit out, its just going around the shifter and then into the console. Ill pop it apart again. Might pick up a RCA cable on the way home and leave it in there

Alrighty managed to get a Nakamichi to ISO then a ISO to BMW thanks to ebay so when that shows up ill put it in. Now a quick question. How do I remove the centre console, no 1 in this drawing.. I've removed the ash trays, removed the screw in the back one but its still attached at the front. Whats the next step? Im going to run the AUX input to the centre console so thinking about it might have to remove the shifter surround too...

Looks good Glenn. We are lucky we can have euro plates I reckon! All the people in the US who drive around with the euros under their state plates look dumb. Not to mention most of the US plates look silly and all bright colours look tacky

There is a blue one with euro plates I used to see a fair bit around Auckland. And then that red convertible on trademe a few years back with a big (and ugly) audio install. They are cool but I think id pass on one. Rather a tidy 911 for similar money

By the looks of things once its in use with one phone you can use the other. If the other rings its as if its not paired at all. This is just from reading, not experience lol Very rare for both to go at the same time haha. Am keen to get one by the time summer really rolls around and I start to use the car more

The uniden one looks good. Anybody used one though? I like being able to connect up two phones at once. Work phone and personal so this is a nice feature for me

If mine is a 95 kiwi new 328i would it have the ZF trans? Are these 5 or 4 speed? I always thought it was 4..

Cheers for that Rogan, Ill give them a call today. Im pretty keen to give it a go myself. I think the main reasons the adaptors dont work is the amp that some e36s seem to have? I can't figure out if mine has one or not?
