  1. Very nice work there Cain! I have already made a turbo manifold for my 2002 touring, but inbetween actually using it and now those headers would go well.... but as an engineer I have to say $2000 is a hefty price tag. For example headers would be around $500 from bimmersports sponsor AL'S MUFFLERS, and they do v. good work also. Then mufflers are $150 a piece at most, i just but a 2.5" single entry twin exit stainless w/ stainless packing all polished for $150. If you dont get ANY offers and need to sell it, let me know. It is great to see people with nice parts for 2002's, I just picked up a 20mm rear swaybar of TM for $50 and the guy also sold me brand new mounts for it too.... Do you have any other 2002 parts for sale? Flare kit perhaps? Otherwise I am beating my own out of the metal thats there....
  2. Hi Ollie, I havent got any parts but I am looking for drivetrain, brakes and engines bits from one of these..... does your mate have any spare? If not maybe we can find a wreck and split the cost? Cheers!

    Shorty's BEEMA

Yeah, those crazy SA's! I think the idea was that the excess fibreglass was left across the top on purpose to allow for slightly different body shapes e.g. people who have had repaired front end smashes will always have non-factory curves

AH HAH... you are the lady that bought don's other kit. I have the rear on my car... sold the front to a very ungrateful young man! (hes on this board somewhere, we sent him the sideskirts and I think his flatmates nicked them!) Kit looks good, only me and you with them in New Zealand! *Before anyone pipes up, chromes are gone, its got 18" Rays Sebring ITC-X on it now, will post new pics soon*
  5. Hi Abby - I have previously offered you $500 and noticed that your TM auciton did not meet the reserve of $500. I had intended to bid that much bit missed your short auction. If you are keen on my offer, PM or email me and I will get back to you.
  6. Yeah, theres mixed opinions about heatwrap, simple answer for me is I can still touch the manifold with the engine running, and it isnt cast so it expands/contracts easily. The flanges are very solid, probably could go thinner on the head flange. its 12mm 10mm would be fine. The turbo flange is an off the shelf T3 flange.
  7. Ohh yeah sounds like you know how that is! turbo has to come off (4 bolts) and then some very nimble fingerwork ensues.... oddly enough the spark plug tool from the factory toolbox in the bootlid is the best tool to do it with!
  8. Its heat wrap.... lot more heat concentrated in the engine bay now!
  9. Uhhhh...... handy to have lying around? just incase a turbo falls on your head one day? heh. (head.... what a pun) for a single one, $900. If more people want them, I will CAD it up and whack it into the CNC machinery so cheaper.
  10. No, I didnt have access to the required tools at the time, no worries now. Yeah its a simple and elegant style really, considering the mess it could have been in the restricted space!
  11. Just Took my manifold off to get planed (Dont ever lose the bolts out of the backing plate on your head.... no oil = HOT engine) and thought it might inspire someone else to do the right thing... none of these jappa conversions! I can have these replicated, let me know if you want a cost.
  12. When I imported my rebuild kits i got clear front indicator lenses from the UK, ended up being 30 bucks including shipping. I have dealt with injection moulding tooling at work, its a long process to get it perfect. Save yourself time and money, import a great big box of the things.
  13. K-MAC have a camber and caster adjustment kits for front, and camber adjustment kit for the rear. Not cheap unless you know the right people :pimp: , but well worth it for ease of use and peace of mind

Dude im doing electrical and electronic, an engineers an engineer! Turboing an e30

Mate, you must be in the wrong course then, I built my M30 turbo from 1st to 2nd year engineering.. thanks work experience! To Stolen, or anyone else keen - If you want to do your turbo build right, I can supply engine mounts, turbo manifold, engine rebuild kit for M30 in an E30, I made/imported multiples of everything when I did mine. Can source engine also, I bought mine for $150! Stock 200HP engine + 50% turbo increase (more or less depending how many bar you run) = good fun (Enough fun to tear LSD input shaft bearings to bits!):mosh: Happy to help! :bounce: Hah and about the work in progress - thats the nature of car modifications!

Yeah we saw that one too... pity it looks rather dated! The truth is you dont need 130 hp to move in these cars.... the 4 door weighs closer to 700 kgs its all function in there none of this interior filling crap (except for our race seats)... huge boot for a little car too get a welder and an air compressor in there together, still with space for a couple of farm animals.... er whatever you like!

    1973 Fiat 128

Cheers bro, find someone to buy it then aye!I love it, Im only selling it to turbo the 2002...... if nobody buys it I will use it for a track racer as it is its a blast to drive!
  19. Yes this one will be a comprehensive test for the ECUCircuit boards off for production on monday! The M30 is still as normal, but has some 18" rays engineering sebring ITC-X wheels on it now! A new 3.5 M30 block is sitting next to the car waiting to go in... they have stronger block ribbing than my 3.3 block.. then we try for 1000 horsepower.

Will sell now for $3200, but if you come and twist my arm we could knock off a couple of hundred.... you wont find one in better body condition in NZ unless its in a museum as fiats are notorious for rust! The only other people I know with these cars use them for track racing.
