  6. This is pretty much what I built - would be well worth it to freight it over if you ever wanted this much power - it has cost me twice as much to build one: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...mMakeTrack=true

  8. 6.9:1 COPMRESSION!! How much boost do you think I can push through that?
  9. Hi again! Another writeup begins.... I purchased a red 1973 (round taillight style) 2002 touring (wagon sort of thing - no other BMW like it) 6 months ago. It got jealous sitting in the garage with the 333 turbo, so it is becoming a 2002 turbo replica. In the last 3 months all bodywork has been completed, a full respray has been done, 3 piece 16" wheels have been added and a full turbo replica bodykit has been installed. The interior has new front seats and a full front and rear retrim on black leather. I will post some pics of it when I get it back, it is currently having the 5 speed installed. It came with an engine that was running but had no compression on number 3. That engine is sitting in the garage, and will be the basis for the turbo build. The car now has an E30 318i M10 powering it temporarily. I am using the turbo from the 333i (its getting a bigger one) so its a T34B, big enough for 400HP. I have found GENUINE TURBO ENGINE PISTONS!!!!! (pics below) that will go into the block, with new rings to match. So far the head has Alpina A4S (the first Alpina cars) 44mm tulip intake valves, just the first in a long list of enhancements. If anyone has any parts suitable for this engine and wants to part with them, please let me know! MORE TO COME.....
  10. Hi all, Thought I would try and do this as I go, mainly for Andrew and the BMWCC as a writeup of the rebuild. The background: After 20,000 + K's at a mild 380HP, the 3.3 block and head from a 633csi are getting the flick. I managed to throw all the belts, overheat, drop all the oil and lose battery power on an emergency trip into Taupo - BENT the head but once I replaced all the belts it got me back to Auckland!!! Ahh BMW reliability Well the turbo manifold got planed, and this was when i realised how bent the head was. This will get straightened as it is one of the tougher AMG castings. The next pic is of the first of the high HP parts going into the new 3.5 block - these rods have been lightened 10%, balanced and polished. They are the best you can do without going to forged rods. NEXT - the pistons are away being machined down from 9.1:1 to 8:1 so we can push through more PSI! HEAPS more stuff to come, stay tuned! :bounce:
  11. Hi Martyyn, I guess the high comp pistons I swapped you a while back worked out OK? I hope one of these isnt the wreck I left on your lawn! My wedding is April 8, think you will have all 4 ready by then? If so book me in. Would love to come and have a chat with you about them, are you still in Drury? Damian.
  12. Then you clearly havent seen my Volk Sebring ITC-X 18's then.
  13. It might just be the difference in picture quality, but I think that the shadowline looks like it has too much black plastic tacked to it. :puke:
  14. Hi all, Any chance anyone has the front pipe of the exhaust of a PRE FACELIFT 318i? I just need the front flange or the whole front pipe if you have it. I may be doing you a favour taking it off your hands really! cheers!
  15. Hey, motor is in, but so is the bung gearbox :/ Cant get either of the computers to work though :/ , how come you gave me 2 anyhow? should I bin one of them now? Might have to be an early install of a RevSpec7 ECU for this one! Heh yeah Ill chuck the auto in, switch gears by pulling / pushing the rod who needs a shifter lever anyway :bounce: I have found a box, but its MEGAbucks for something that is really quite worthless and the ECU takes up too much time for me to do a gearbox rebuild, but thats the price of progress :pimp: so Anyone got a gearbox rotting in the shed for me? Otherwise I will have to import a 5 speed!
