Here is a few pics of various wheels i've had on my e36! The last one (Hamann's) are the current wheels with staggered tyres. Hope this helps ya!

I had 18x8 tsw mondello's on my e36 with 235x40x18 all round on standard suspension and had guard rub with the right offset - handled well though! I have since then gone to 17x8.5 hamann wheels with 225x45x17 front and 245x40x17 back staggered tyres and it feels like another car, handling is awesome!! i'd go with a nice set of clean looking 17's ftw!

Having said all that i may be wrong - it has been wet every day since i picked her up with the new exhaust! Today was a mission to get traction on steelies at any rev range!

Not sure yet ay - seems to have a little bit more, but maybe a slight loss at lower rpm. Will have to drive it for a few days/weeks ..when it gets dryer and see what happens. Definatly want to get it on the dyno though to see what it makes! Still loving those headers Wayne - still probably the best money i spent on the car!

So i got the car back today - and it sounds pretty good! Will post pics and youtube sound when i get a chance. The system is wayne's headers minus the secondry pipes. So from headers twin stainless all the way with a holden vx/vt rear big bore twin in/twin out back box! I did want to run without anything in the middle but it was too loud so there is somehting in the middle, coby/resonator's - haven't had a good look yet! Stay tuned....

Get the car back tomorrow - (Wed) Will see how it goes....
-
Haha what are you trying to say? ...hmm this could be interesting??!!

I should be there with the e30 or e36 if the e30 isn't running for whatever reason! And i would think i can get a few other e30's there too!

His tyres will be 235x45x17 Oli - If you get the angle grinder out you'll fit them! And it will grip...

Car went in today for the exhaust to be 'played' with. Should be ready tomorrow or wed at the latest. Will try and to a sound test on youtube if it all works out ok....

Haha, keep the secret too Oli, need to see how well it works before letting the cat out the bag on here - i'll prob never hear the end of it anyway! Well that is unless of course it works really well!
-
Ok so i've got the back box sorted - and its my new secret weapon! And never been done before in the history of e30's!!! Stay tuned boys and girls.... PS i hope this idea actually works out......

Are the fronts 51mm or 45mm with a collar? If they are 51mm i'll take them off your hands. I'm in wgtn tho.

Car is prefl '86 325i manual m20b25 Current situation is i have a set of headers from Wayne on the car already - the rest is standard. i want to lose the middle box (i have no cat to worry about either) and run twin pipes from the headers to a twin in-twin out back box. The question is what back box to run? I am not interested in noise, i just want a good performance one, with nice tips on the end. Can anyone recommend one? I do not want a cheap crap trademe one. I was looking at the $200 mark at the moment but that can change. Any help would be apprieciated.

Sounds like yours is coming along nicely! Good luck with the wof - mine ran out a week ago, and is sitting in the garage on axle stands with the front ripped off! Waiting on a rad and then i'll be in for a wof too! Can't wait to see yours in action - and you'll prob be on the road before mine is back going again! Haha i'm hoarding all the good bits....

No worries Nathan. Funnily enough i just put my tech1 spoiler on the other night. It takes all of 5mins, just undo the 8 odd nuts on the underside of the boot then put the new one on! I'm too poor to have mine painted yet tho! Watch this space, i'll be running bbs front kit, tech1 sides, tech1 rear spoiler, and facelift headlights next time you see the car! We should do another wgtn meet-up soon...

yes, well they did on mine anyway!

Does anyone have a prefl 325i radiator, one with top and bottom tanks, and both hoses on the left side. Oh and also with the thin pipe going to filler tank. Need one asap. Kerry. 02102777666 Thanks.
