Just after an auto gearbox without the switchable sport mode. Its for a 318i but doesnt matter as the bellhousings interchange? Maybe someones got one lying around after a manual conversion theyd sell. Basically has to be in hamilton unless its free or something
-
Why dont you megasquirt it while its all out. Would probaly cost around $700 shipped. www.diyautotune.com
-
If you do it just get it off ebay for a quarter the price
-
yea mate. pretty curbed after nearly 2 decades hope to get them refurbished one day.
-
thats about 110mm off the ground at the front.
-
yeah I wondered that too. The top one of them has a black, ie carbon fibre, roof so probaly the new m3? That building is horrible
-
awesome. must be a great feeling

Wanting the motor inside number 25 in the pic or the whole module would be easier. This is for a facelift with aircon which i think is different. Depending on price i might instead buy a motor from an electronics shop but i cant be bothered soldering. Thanks
-
hahaha thats great

its crazy huh i couldnt believe it when i read something about 80's formula one cars in 'Maximum Boost'. Im quite sure all the car companies have the ability to make engines like that, it just doesnt make business sense. Even look at the bugatti veyron, they lose so many million for each car. Good e30 converion perhaps .

Is there any point in doin' a manual conversion??

its cheapest to go to a tool shop for the torx sockets. A few dollars each. youl need E10 and E14 if i remember correctly and perhaps an E12

I think this has come up before and it turned out to be a fuse

hahaha £16 install cost for floormats on that site. And na i dont have another center cap. These were on ebay but the auction has closed. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-HARTGE-...emZ270179942996
-
great car mate. Are those the original centercaps? my ones have the hartge logo and are flush with the wheel, but cant really see in the pics. Im scared theyl fall off when driving haha

hi mike. so are you just managing fuel so far with larger injectors and adjusting the AFM but without using a rising rate FPR? It must run a bit rich off boost and lean at redline wouldnt it. Please explain. Also what kind of steel did you use for the manifold? Like thickness etc thanks alot

i havent really played that smaller track. Best is 2:22 on long track i think. Maybe we could organise a time to race.
-
I got it running fine yesterday. Just took out the spark plugs and they were covered with black residue and smelt of petrol. Seemed like it had been flooded somehow. Gave them a clean and then adjusted the AFM and it seems good now. Glad it wasnt anything major, getting fed up with fixing my cars more than driving them!

Yea its pretty bloody hard. Its a modded version of Toca 3 im quite sure. Someone come race me on my server
