same thing happened to my dads car a few months back, the insurance company couldnt replace the window straight away so moved it into the garage. The next morning at close to 3am, the fockers returned to have a go at my bro's car. Me, my brother and my neighbor chased them down in a car and on foot and managed to catch one of the fockers. Epic reponse from the cops, 6 cops arrived within the space of 2 mins in a town that no longer has a local copshop. Hopefully he doesnt come back for some revenge more when hes out of prison.

Staunch pose, looks really good Mike. No fancy exhaust tips yet?

Is it facelift or pre-facelift?

Made a video of it pm for the file. Slightly too big to upload and youtube will kill all the sound quality.

For sale: M20 aftermarket exhaust Custom made from downpipes back by Als Mufflers on the shore about 2 years back now. This was designed for a 320i but may fit a 325i exhaust manifold this will need to be confirmed. Could be modified to fit other models. This is the exhaust from my race car. Idle is slightly louder and you can drive it around low RPM without waking up the whole neighbourhood. Sound kicks in around 3000-4500rpm and sounds amazing. Not your average low note big bore, but quite a nice tone to it. Standard E30 downpipes with the 4 lug flange down into a 2 1/4" single pipe to mid resonator back to lukey rear muffler with a nice shiney single chrome tip on it. Performed well off the mark but I've gone to a different setup for next season. The tone is I believe best suited to a road car, need a disgustingly loud exhaust for race car . Will try and get a video of the sound. Able to be heard in car for the next week or so. $375 ono. after a quick sale. Pickup in Auckland. Contact by PM if you have any questions or wish to view for viewing. new price $325

any rattles through the RPM range in neutral? clutch in? clutch out?
-
BNT do aftermarket oem replacements - I think around $165 per arm.
-
not too many from what I've heard. Trademe has a couple but other than that no other leads known.

Wicked Brook, looks great. The wheels look interesting, never seen anything like them, what brand are they? Nice edition to the family.
-
yeah they are perfectly road legal.

What about a car show on interesting finished projects?

You dont need a complete new strut, just replace the hub/bearing.

1989 320i gearbox from an E30 facelift non sports selector type gearbox. Strictly: As is where is. No warranty, no refunds, no come backs - the price reflects these conditions. Was working when removed for gearbox conversion. $100 $50 - pm me. Pickup in Auckland.

unless it needs replacing I wouldnt bother, you wont notice the difference. The stock ones from FRAM are about $30-40, I'd go for a Simota just becuase its cleanable. Wont make sod all difference to performance but you wont have to throw it out and get a new one next time. IIRC the K&N panel filters are about $140 . Simotas are $50 off trademe link me Or $65 from BNT. Otherwise see your dealer about OEM replacement.

The Simota panel although it is half the depth of stock and is cleanable I felt performed worse than stock.
