picked up two more since. Z3 1998 for 4k and 318i E46 touring for $5k .. both at silly prices both stolen info from trademe auctions of same car. It needs to be compulsary to display phone numbers on these auctions and not email seller. Hopefully would eliminate this crap.

re-reading your thread, have had same problem before in my 320i, a new coil remedied the problem. But also reading up E30 book it suggests it could be the TPS or air flow meter as well. Suggest you clean the airflow meter out and check that its not sticking. Use a bit of carb cleaner and a tooth brush.

check for cracks/leaks in exhaust manifold, inlet manifold. Check spark plugs, spark leads, clean contacts. Have you triple checked the flux capacitor?

"we here at top gear...." - dear god.

coming from a race series guy, unless your hauling an engine far heavier, you dont need a huge discs big brake kit or anything extravagant. We run standard discs, with performance pads. Most people say steer well clear of EBC, thats their opinion. I quite like the hawk range, racebrakes has a good range but at a premium price. Shop around, ask around, get some advice before you buy. You wont notice the difference on the road between drilled and slotted discs I would have thought. You'll really only need fronts as thats where most hte stopping power is required.

Granted I've only ever tried 3 european workshops around Auckland I can't really comment on the others but once I had my car serviced at Botany motor worx I was happy that I was getting excellent service, reasonable prices and good piece of mind at the end of the day. haven't looked back. Would recommend.

hey Graham, make sure you get some fixings at the same time. Not all wraps include this.

where abouts is that located, what can I do to unblock it. Any parts I'll need or can I service it myself. I take it its located behind the drivers side rear guard or is it located elsewhere, couldnt really find it on realoem

Hi guys, I dont know too much about fuel pressure but my fuel pressure seems to be fairly high, when I open the fuel cap it has a huge wooshing/gushing sound.. when hot it has overflowed fuel before when opening it.

Happy birthday Craig!

sounds great Dave. Good to see a steady flow of racers moving up.
-
thats bullshit, ive also been a victim to this sh*t before, it sucks. Happy to donate a few nails for his coffin.
-
thats great Dave, must be stoked with that. Out of curiousity, what sort of time did that take, couple of hours on the dyno, must have been a fair few runs?
-

lol - will include a free E30 4 spoke steering wheel for our buyers from Waiuku. Bought this one at the last second not long ago to save Dan from looking for one for another year, only to find he sourced one that same day.
