hmmm has this car been impounded before .. for skudz ?
-
yes you can, ring Team McMillan parts, $139 incl gst I think it is for a Z3 Short Shift kit. Not including all the bushes for the shift console but for the knuckle joint yes.
-
[cheeky] what does your rego say your car should be Ashkan[/cheeky]
-
sorry man, thought I knew someone with one but nah wrong year.
-
I came across the exact same thing, $200 worth of value. I asked what his managers name was, he said he was just hte advertising guy, so I said well whats the branch managers name for Papakura, he gave me it, I rang, confirmed, even dropped in there, confirmed. cost me $25, wasn't to badder deal. Seemed dodgy as f**k but I managed to use it.
-
I'm no mechanic but have asked hte same thing before and was told it was no recommended and if a definite must, then do it with disconnecting the driveshaft first.
-
thanks, I love that quote.

boy racers love these cars. Even collectyors if they're in good condition. Push for 2k ono.
-
you wont see any in south auckland, well should I say they wont last too long.
-
Give him a call as I'm sure he hasnt bought his shocks just yet and I was looking at buying his spare diff about 3 months ago, dont think hes sold it.
-
Try txting this guy: Mitchell 021-883-235 and ask if hes still got a spare 4.1 diff- he had one a while back unsure if he still does. You will prob end up having to spend some money as no-one wants to give away 4.1's these days. That and the parts you want to trade arent really desireable at all, aside from maybe the Koni's. Are they suitable for the race series? Did you buy the wrong size by mistake?

I think its more exhibitions that are the dangerous part of them. Hurting hte people around you.
-
Okay say you do goto the police with that, how are you going to explain it? if the driver wasn't meant to be driving the car, then surely he could be charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle? even vehicle theft ? is this notjoy riding, whether it be your mate or not.

Hawk pads are something like $150+GST fronts 180+GST rears. www.racetech.co.nz the guy who supplies them is on these forums, check the brakepads thread for his details. Username Jules. We need a bimmersport discount damnit. I used just the fronts in my E30 series car, went well. Have upgraded to rears as well this season, still runs good.
-
they road pads, meant for road use. Ofcourse they're going to last bugger all under hard braking at speeds like that. Lucas pads arent sh*t hot, at cost from repco they were $19, so I stuck a few in the back to fill the void when my other pads crapped out, they lasted a few rounds and practices. Although the brakes were much better in the front than back, so as to adjusted the bias a little. The EBC pads are the optional sponsor of the E30 series but by no means seem to be the favoured or popular option. Go for hawk road and race pads, I recommend the HP-Plus

heres the expensive part. I believe if its the same as a 320i headgasket price, it will be $351 odd $$$ for the kit. I hate to say it but find someone that works @ repco that can get it for you, I think same kit costs around $130.00
