I've replaced mine with the JB Racing kit clutch kit, part # 520-155SK-B413 goes well. Some noticeable differences from the dual mass unit: rev's significantly quicker, bit of loss in torque, idle isn't as smooth as it was have had to wind it up a bit. Ideally I'd say for a street driven car its probably on the light side, but hey its a V8 RWD manual.....

This setup may be even better having the option of adjustment. http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-1303-racing-dynamics-sway-bar-set-e34-525i-530i-535i-540i-m5.aspx Just shy of NZD800 plus Customs and GST on landing, say $1k all up to your door. cheers Matt

Can anyone confirm the bolt heads are T60 Torx heads? and, does anyone know how deep they are into the flywheel? I can get a T60 and grind it to fit the off-set, but it only has a shaft of approx 50mm. cheers Matt

Hi everyone, Am about to replace my flywheel and clutch set up. Does anyone happen to have a V8 fly wheel removal tool that they want to sell, hire or loan? cheers Matt

My pick 540 manual, you can make anything go round corners well with a decent suspension setup. I've averaged 12.1L/100km combined driving since I've owned mine, mostly open road but there's a whole bunch of corners what ever way I go from home. V8, manual, rear wheel drive.... the 5 series may not be the sports car the 330i is but it has a nice sound track with your foot in it up to the knee!

Thanks guys will resize and upload some photos. Daz, I'd rather sell together as I've downsized to ACS 17"s so tyres are no use to me. I'm in Whangamata so pretty much everyone's out of town - though I'm in Taupo every week and usually up to Auckland every two weeks or so. I'll pass on the 20"s thanks Brent bit to gangster for me... can't imagine they'd do much for the handling. cheers Matt
