Selling 1994 BMW M3 NZ NEW, Manual. Avus Blue Black leather - Vados seats 204km I had absolutely no intention of selling but plans have taken a 180 turn and am forced to accept that I need a more realistic car for work, tied with purchasing a house and you get the picture! Original and immaculate! Absolutely no leaks and uses no oil! Very tidy engine bay $16k BM workshop know the car and rated it when I was looking. New Radiator Aircon system replaced Vanos replaced Headlining repaired early 2014 ($600) Original head unit (10 cd stacker) Rechargeable flash light, unused first aid kit, all tools! Bushes immaculate Replaced gear box linkages (gearbox is tight) New diff oil late 2013 (5km ago) Replaced perished hoses Fitted genuine X brace to firm up suspension Brakes replaced last year ($1500) Suspension is exceptionally smooth! Purchased from Jerry Clayton in Dec 1994 and has been well maintained with proof of full service history! Original books and receipts with car. Car feels exceptionally tight to drive. Only thing wrong, alternator is whining slightly at idle and will need to be replaced at some stage, although BM Grey Lynn said not to worry until it needs doing. Not that it matters what I think. But I absolutely love this car, however I have to make the move. Give me a call - 021 620 633

Spirited drive in Auckland tonight? (Friday)
atlantiskiwi replied to atlantiskiwi's topic in General Discussion
Yeah Sam seemed a little tired when I spoke to him today......why was that......... -
I'm going through the "do I, don't I sell" phase at the moment. I have a very tidy 2003 530i that I purchased at 77km and it still drives and runs exceptionally well! Now done 115k and still feels incredibly tight!

Looks like where the only ones. I thought it would get more bites! -
Guys I'm really sorry but where do I see the options? Alternatively maybe you can guide me. I'm wanting TN1050 for M3 x 2 in the most least likely targeted look if possible it'd be cool to have M or BMW on them..? I would also like x2 M3 3.0 which I want to use as my show plates. I also see something about brackets so that you don't have to drill your plates. I'll take a couple of those to.

Bugger!! I wanted that cross brace!

Anyone keen for a drive this evening? Nothing crazy but somewhere away from the crowds?
-
Well it sounds like your on the right track. I have a very tidy (crack in front bumper which can be fixed under insurance) facelift 03 E39 530i. Runs exceptionally well. We may be looking to sell it as my wife wants something smaller.

Wife took the M3 for a drive this arvo

She's driving the 530i now. But it's to big for what she's doing. I reckon a 330 or 325 E90 is the way to go... -

Hey mate. Good points and I agree. Mum had a 98 320i E36 back in the day and it ran at about 11-12l/100. I can't imagine a 328 would be any more.. But I am talking E90 -
Hey Tyler, any likelihood you will be lining up a BMW?
-
Hey bro. I looked it this car a while back. Great guy who used to own it and if in wasn't set on an m3 I would have also considered it!

Haha, she is driving it at the moment. But she only drives from Mission Bay to Remuera. Just seems such a waste. I was thinking of getting her a 320 msport. I'll see how another month goes. -
Did New Zealand get any black 1M's?
atlantiskiwi replied to Golfboy666GTI's topic in General Discussion
Saw a mint black 1M a few moments ago in Eastridge New World. -

Cheers. It seem to have been looked after. All original and has full service history (every stamp in the book) It's got a small hesitation at 2000rpm which I hoping is just a coil, lead or plug. If anyone has a diagnostics unit I could use, let me know. Of course I will pay for the honour! -

Cheers guys!! Yes she is amazing and I remind myself of it everyday.... I am very happy with the car. Having looked for nearly 12months and basically giving up I was pretty stoked to buy what I did for the price I paid! My biggest issue now is deciding whether to keep the 530i or not. I Love it and it's so tidy that I would struggle to ever replace it. However, it's a lot of car just to have sitting around. -
Found it. Cr2016 3v Ordered crap loads of them. So if anyone wants a couple let me know and I'll chuck them in the mail.
-
Hey man, can you post a pic with your gear knob and boots? I be been looking at the same ones and am curious what it looks like on.

You know what they say...nice wife.....great bloke!....ok maybe it's just me who says that. I know, it has a new windscreen and that's where they put it. Any idea where to get a good reg sticker from?
