    E36 Rear Bumper

Where can you get the aftermarket diffuser from? I have seen one on trademe before but apparantly it didn't fit the guy's e36 coupe rear bumper (although I'm pretty sure there is no difference between the coupe and 4dr rear bumper) Anyway, I want to get an M-tech rear bumper, however, I don't really have the money at the moments so am after a cheaper option being the aftermarket diffuser. Any ideas would be much appreciated
  4. Be very happy that you don't have a coupe, its quite a mission to get the door glass out of a coupe door (heaps of bits to undo) goodluck with the rubber replacement

Doh I thought I would get away with it. There is just a few photos, really need to spend more time and take some really good ones
  6. I just put a set of 19" rims on my car, let me know what you all think, she's getting lowered as a Christmas pressie (gotta love my Mumma and Dadda) My next plans are to get the tints done properly and to get some new centre caps for the wheels, although to look at the centre caps on the new wheels seem quite large compared to normal. Please resize to 800 X 600 and repost
  7. and for some reason it didn't attach to my last post OMG I just realised how terrible it looks (crappy photoshopping) but you get the drift right??
  8. I did a real quick photoshop of it - added colour, would look quite cool in a fluro colour..

    hey

I wish I still had an E30 (don't get me wrong I love my E36 325i) but E30's are just way cool Welcome by the way Really need to change my signature
  10. Hi Glenn, Yea it is a coupe, are you open Sat mornings? I will give you a call at somestage.
  11. This is all the time, thought it would just be something like the switch, (at least thats what I was hoping for) I hate pulling apart coupe doors :s
  12. Oh yea, I just thought of another kind of strange thing it is doing. The drivers window goes down when you hold the button (as you would expect) however, when you press the button to wind the window up again it goes up about 2 inches and stops, then you press the button and same thing up another 2 inches then stops, continuously until the window is up. why would this happen?
  13. Hey everyone, my 94 E36 325i manual started cutting out last Saturday. At first I thought I had run it low on fuel, but have a full tank of gas in it now and injector cleaner. However, when it did cut out it didn't cough and splutter as you would expect of a car that is low on fuel. All of Saturday I kept driving it near home just testing to see if it would do it again. Basically while driving it will act as if it miss-fires once, then the engine stalls, there is still power to everything. Sometimes it will start straight away and other times I will have to let it sit for about 5 mins before I start it. Also today while I was driving it I noticed it seems to happen in the higher rev range, around the 5000 rev mark when the varnos kicks in. I have checked fuel pump, that seems to be fine. In my e30 I had a similar issue which involved the crank angle sensor (Glenn you may remember that one) and at the same time you changed the cam angle sensor. I don't think it is the same problem though, I had my car plugged into a diagnostic tool today and there was no fault codes.. So now I am really confused.. I also changed the ignition relay as I was told this could be the issue.. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Cheers
  14. Haha yea highly likely, I mostly do day shifts there tho
  15. That is so true, I used to pop on here every now and again to see what was happening in bimmerworld.
  16. Thanks, I didn't mention my first car - a mini, it was poo brown and auto when I got it, reverse was blown so out came the 1000cc engine and in went a 1300cc engine with a manual box another mission with dad.. I'm pretty proud of the cars i have owned (minus the starlet) - My 325 coupe in my signature pic, I sold that and some one ended up writing it off. I only just got my beemer on Monday and had been looking for about a month and stumbled upon my 318is coupe that i made manual, it was at Turners DVA, a write off, tried buying it back but it went for too much in the end, was planning on using it as a doner car. On the topic of my old cars, does anyone on here own or know who owns my 318 e30 (in my signature pic) I have seen it once or twice since I sold it and am always hopeful that it will go up for sale so I can buy her back..
  17. Been hiding either at work (the Kingslander - in Kingsland) or at home in Takanini
  18. Hey all, I'm Shantelle, but you can all call me shorty. I first found this site when I had my first Beemer, my white E30 318is coupe manual, I sold that and ventured on to a E36 325i coupe auto, I then got bored with the auto trans, so imported a silver E36 318is coupe auto and did a manual conversion - great learning experience and time to chill with dad. I then ventured away from BMW to my other passion Subaru, I ended up with a 98 Stb Forester, now that I have bought a house, and my car was going to be parked outside, I decided to get something thats not a target for theives, I ended up with a 96 toyota starlet glanza turbo - I was happy for about a week, then reality hit me, so I'm back now with a 94 purple 325is Coupe, manual, with the dove grey leather interior. I will post pic's as soon as I have taken some, need to give her a clean first.
  19. Its near Mt Eden, In Auckland.. Thats what I did last year for Bathurst, Big telly, surround sound.. Mean!! It always sux when you run out of beer tho
  20. Hey everyone!! Been a long time since I been on here.. I'm working at the Kingslander, in Kingsland... We are showing Bathurst live throughout the whole day!! Opening from 10am for brunch.. BBQ will be going in the afternoon.. Hopefully a couple of NZV8 cars will be there, and a couple drivers. Also it's Oktoberfest at the bar, until the 20th of October meaning that you can purchase a Kingslander Stein for $20 its yours to keep and you can refill it for $10 until the 20th of October. There are 15 screens in the bar to catch the v8 action so why not come down and show your true colours (I know they ain't bimmers) but it will still be an enjoyable day. I think the Auckland Mini club is going to be there... so we should show them up!! Hope to see you all there Shorty

Yea how the hell do you have two silver tourings in the same place at the same time? I have always wanted one!!! they are just soooo cool and different. Here is a pic of my E30 I put the bodykit on it and lowered it on jamex lowring springs, Im not sure how low it dropped though. But I could only just get it in the garage at night with out cracking the sump. Also a pic of my current beema, my E36 318 manual coupe, its lowered on superlow bilstein springs but once again im not sure how much it has dropped sorry.
