I couldn't really bear to look at my baby in that state for too long, bought tears to my eyes.. But I don't think it pushed anything back into the engine, the radiator didn't leak at the accident site or anything, the car ended up up the kerb which smashed the wheel and in a powerpole, which was on the outside of the front chassis rail, so it wrecked the front bumper, grille pannel, left front headlight, the spotlights popped out as did the indicators on both sides, the bonnet is bent and the left front guard is squashed and pushed back, from memory the passanger door didn't get pushed back far at all - still opened and closed fine, didn't look closely at the alignment of it The manual gear box would sell for pretty good coin too i would imagine, being a 6cyl one. The interior, wasn't immaculate, possibly sellable, but personally I wouldn't buy it. Well unless I got a really good deal for it! The engine had done high km's but Beemers go forever and ever (almost) and the engine had no issues, it used a lil bit of oil, and smoked a wee bit, but thats expected from a car that has done 208,000km Boy I loved that car!

I have thought about this, I have a garage at home, and was thinking that I could do this over the Christmas break, the damage was all frontal, so would depend on what the insurance company wants for it. Also destroyed the left fron mag and most likely the left front shock

Hey guys, Just need to know if anyone can help me here? I wrote my baby off almost two weeks ago (I cried myself to sleep 3 nights in a row) I have just received my settlement amount (haven't signed for it yet) I feel that my car is worth a wee bit more then the insurance company. Would anyone be able to give me a written valuation? Most of you would be in my kind of mind frame as we all LOVE BMW! My baby's details: 1994, 325i coupe, manual, with dove grey leather interior (no rips, however the leather had a couple cracks in it and wear marks) I had lowered it on koni shocks and springs, with 19 inch wheels, and the tyres were only 6months old. The exterior had an M3 spoiler, and a motorsport front bumper with the black lip on the bottom, factory style clear front indicators, and tail lights oh and tinted windows. The car was a beautiful dark purple colour, looked black in certain light. Please help me, my one wish this christmas is to be able to have my car back, or something absolutely similar!

1. 1976 Mini, the yellow one in the middle of the pic, that was my first car, was auto when I purchased it with blown gear box, Dad and I converted it to manual and replaced the 1000cc engine with a 1300. The car was SH*T BROWN. Paid $250 for it, and sold it 2 years later for $1500. Sold it because I wanted an E30. 2. 1989 E30 318is coupe, 5sp Manual, paid $3600 for this car, loved it to pieces, kept it for about 3 years then wanted a E36 with a 6cyl engine. I lowered this car on Jamex springs, put an aftermarket bodykit on it, and some 17 inch rims. (Wish I could have kept it and had an E36) Sold it for $4900, and cried myself to sleep the night it left me. 3. 1993 Black E36, 325i auto coupe. Bought this one damaged, paid $6000 for it with the parts to fix it, towed it home, and had it back on the road, new door and sill repainted in 3 days. I put 18 inch rims on this one, it had an exhaust system - Love the sound, but I wanted a Manual.. 4. 1998 Silver E36 318is Coupe Auto, so I imported this one, damaged from Japan, while it was off the road being repaired, i purchased an Motorsport bodykit and a manual conversion kit for it, did the manual conversion at home in the garage with dad, in 2 and a half days. Put some 18 inch rims on it and lowered it, drove this one around for about 2 and a half years. Loved it nearly as much as the E30... But I love my Subaru's aswell...and when my next car caught my eye, I traded my beemer for it. 5. 1998 White Subaru Forester, I wanted a subaru, I love the sound that the boxer engine makes with a big bore on it, so I went for a turbo forester. Lowered it and put 17 inch rims on it.. Loved it, but then purchased a house, and didn't want to park my subaru outside, while my boyfriend and our border took the garage for their 2001 wrx sti and 2004 subaru forester sti's so I sold it and purchased probably the worst car of my life! 6. 1996 blue/silver Toyota Starlet Glanza. 5spd Manual, turbo. I lowered it and put 17 inch rims on it, but I still wasn't happy.. hahaha and I can't even find a photo of it! Sold this beast for $5000 7. 1994 purple 325i Manual coupe, purchased for $4200, has dove grey leather, motorsport front bumper, and that beautiful 6cyl sound, I purchased some 19 inch rims for it, for $800 (they were too wide) sold them for $1000 and purchased another set for $800 then mum and dad got me a set of lowered koni shocks and springs for xmas, so she looks good

With a few slight changes this one would actually look really cool, like remove that stupid uni-brow thing and the bags under its eyes, then it would look all good
-
Here's mine Koni shocks and springs nice and low, sturdy on the road, not too much of a hard ride either. on 19x7.5 with 215/35 19 tyres.

Yes Bimmersport really should get involved, these car clubs get good coverage, look at the mini car club of Auckland, doing their motorkhana stuff! (Got to go for a ride in one of their club members race cars yesterday - dad's in the club)

I so would have done the same! Welcome by the way I heard that the 645 is an amazing car, and that the M6 is just mind blowingly insane! LOVE IT!

Working in pub we see heaps of these: You can get t-shirts which have a list of challenges (I think from NZ Stag) Anyway, I have seen guys come in wearing baby nappies, pink tutu's, dresses, fake plastic boobs, Borat's Mankini (not a good choice - make sure he wears something underneath) pink wigs, fairy wings, I have seen stags bring in their blow up doll girlfriend or their blow up sheep (which they had to carry around the whole night.... the list goes on. Challenges - all must be photographed - makes for great laughter later..

I was driving to a mates house last night when I heard the sound of something hitting my car, once I got to my mates I realised that my after-market RHF indicator had fallen out and detached itself from my car. Not such a bad thing I guess as I am after some late model clear coupe indicators rather then the after-market ones. Anyone have any lying around or know where I can get some relatively cheap? Was going to go to European Autospares today but just never had the chance. Cheers Shorty

Thats exactly what i thought, very lucky!

Yea I love the colour aye, the 4th & 5th pics show the actual height it just depends on the angle of the ground that the car is parked on. should have seen it on my parents driveway, will post pics soon.
-
Hahaha yea probably not a common phenomenon haha, and believe it or not it was mums idea (although she had no idea what it was that she was getting me) but she normally gets mad at dad when he buys me things for my car for birthdays or xmas.

Thanks, I got more then I bargained for thanks to my parents, they pulled the old, we will get you the springs only, if you want the shocks get them yourself, so I opened my pressie on xmas and to my surprise they got the shocks too
