  1. I think the highest bid was around $16k, pretty sure it didn't sell tho
  2. The offset refers to where the wheel sits in realtion to the hub. A 15 et will mean it will sit out 10mm further than teh 25et providing the wheels are the same width.

    15' Weaves

I have just updated the post in the wheel section, about 6-8 weeks away
  4. Just a little update - These should be here in the next 6-8 weeks, they will be available in either gold or silver with a machined lip at 15ET. I don't have any pricing yet but expect them to be our usual sharp pricing.
  5. these are on trade Me at the moment but not in an E30 fitment.
  6. They look very cool - well done Pics on car or ban!!
  7. Spotted you near St Lukes - you were about to get on the motorway I think. I waved but you snobbed me as you drove past!
  8. We haven't even finished getting them made yet so the short answer is no
  9. Good luck trying to find some - they are now as rare as rockin' horse sh*t . You may be lucky and come across some on TM
  10. Ok I have been hinting on here for a wee while now about some new 16" E30 wheels that we are currently getting made. After being inundated with pm's I thought I would post them up. They will not be arriving for a few months, so it gives all you E30 guys plenty of time to save your pennies. I have no specific pricing yet but they will be under $1k for a set of 4. The specs are as follows: 16x7 4x100/4x114.3 MultifitET20 approx 3.5" Dish 16x8 4x100/4114.3 Multifit ET20 approx 4.5" Dish They are only available in the sizes listed above and will be Black with a machined dish. Prospective buyers will be able to purchase 7", 8" or combine the 2 for a staggered fit. Teaser pic below of the 8" wide wheel. That pic is a sample only and does not do the wheel justice. Ours will be 8 hole or 4 stud multifit as we will have them to fit some old school Jappas as well Cheers

wait for our Black 16x7 and 16x8 Deep dish wheels - 4.5" Dish on the 8's!! I shall say no more
  12. I am going through the same process at the moment and have basically narrowed it down to a late 90's VW Passat (IMO the look better than an Audi of the same generation) or a Ford Mondeo (01 on shape). I may also consider a Vectra, but am still a little bit unsure about them.
  13. btw spelling nazi says it is ExtrAordinaIre
  14. Make sure you let Joel know at our shop down there. Teh are probably stupid enough to try and get the tyres taken off the rims!
  15. Is it 4 door or coupe? Any more specs??
  16. Just a quick Q Did you buy the springs brand new or 2nd hand? The only reason I ask is that if you bought 2nd hand are you sure you didn't get 6 cylinder springs? The heavier spring from the 6 cylinder will lower your car less.
  17. ROFL - Ash we need to find somewhere to keep all your priceless quotes!!
  18. At the end of the day you get what you pay for We always tell our customers to let the tyres "bed in" before driving "vigourously" Jib is pretty much on the money with his comments, however you will also find that the better tyre brands have a compund that is less conspicuous than their cheaper counterparts and tends to wear off a lot quicker. Give your Kingstars about 100km and they should get a lot better. TBH they are one of the better 'budget' brands around.
  19. Those first spacars are no longer able to be certified. New laws state that they must be hubcentric against the hub and the wheel if that makes sense. You can still use locating rings either side to achieve this. They must also have a spigot on the stud side to allow a wheel to be located centrally ( like the gold ones in the 2nd link)
  20. The coupe is now finally on Trade Me. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.as...090&ed=true Within 2 hours I had someone asking for a swap. Guess what it was??????????????? A freakin' motorcycle!!! Really good for carrying around a baby!! Why is it that I get all the muppet emails?
  21. Thanks for all the well wishes people! Oscar is actually a few weeks early but he and Sarah and doing really well. He should be old enough to bring along to the next cruise!!
