very cool little cars, esp if you can find one with a Recaro interior. However they are very very thirsty!

I am not much of an economist either but comparing GDP between countries is ludicrous. Countries with 10x the population of little old NZ are bound to have a higher GDP. Wouldn't GDP PER CAPITA be a better comparison? Perhaps the economists here could shed some light?

Moot point as the wheels will not fit

It will hopefully even out around the 60c mark. This seems to be where it works best for both importers and exporters. I can't see it getting back to the halcyn days of almost 80c for a long long time.

Just out of interest who is paying for your university education?

Doggy = a pet term for any dog Dodgy = shady, evasively tricky

snap!! Exactly what I was thinking. Maybe an availability issue?

that is P I M P N

We had them made for the race series so only 15" available. Any wheels we bring in from now on are going to be at least 30% more expensive. It sucks I know - but the NZ peso is bouncing around more than rubber ball!!

rangimods.com - fits in nicely!

bought the Meguiars clay bar yesterday, and set about giving the car a going over today. What a difference and so simple to use! Waxing afterwards with the old rotary buffer makes things super shiny!
-
haha - I will probably end up driving it at some stage over the weekend and I can't stand driving around in dirty cars!

Hi all, I thought I had better give the wife's car a jolly good clean over the long weekend. I actually started last night and gave it a quick wash n wax. The trouble is it really needs a clay bar going over the whole thing to get that "smooth as glass" finish back. I have a variety of Meguiars and Mothers products but no clay bar. I was doing a bit of research last night and came across the Ice wax 'liquid' clay bar. I was just wondering what people's experience, if any are with the different clay bars. Your feedback would be appreciated. Cheers Johno

Caleb asked if it was worth buying and our thoughts, I simply gave him mine. Not all of their cars are bad it seems and with low km's like his I hope he got a good one!!
-
Are you speaking from experience? I have used them heaps and they are very good. European made, cold wound etc not like nasty Dobi or Kings.

Stay away from anything from OVAL - Dodgy dodgy dodgy people. Checking their feedback will give some indication. Word on the street up here is that there a lot of disputes tribunal hearings scheduled.

Haha rick got me too! Now I'm gonna get all my friends!! Ctrl alt del seems to stop it too

Mate, have a cup of tea and a lie down and chill out, there is no need to get all worked up about it . I have deleted my post about it being RHD. There is apparently a loop hole in the system that allows the car to remain LHD, but the person who owns it must have lived in their original country for x period of time and must have it in this country for x period of time before they can sell it again.
-
no rego, no warrant, MUST be converted to RHD and FUGLY, really hasn't got anything going for it has it
-
well said Brian, I agree with you, people on here are really quick to jump and point fingers. Lets have an amnesty, if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all. BTW I have seen the car in the flesh and it looks great!
-
hope you are taking the piss look at the front wheel especially, it has big bits missing off the outer edge
-
can you say "photoshop"?
-
have you checked EBC? They are probably one of the best around.

Just by looking at where the car is I would DEFINITELY get Glenn to give it a pre-purchase inspection. Read between the lines if you will but I will not go into further detail on a public forum. Cheers Johno
