  1. i would hate to think how many of us are cruising around under 100mm w.o a cert.. i am also a culprate at 70mm in my e30
  2. yeah i gotta get my full 1st, dont really want to draw attention to myself with passengers.
  3. nice wheels... zenetti seems to be getting a few good wheel choices lately.
  4. ^sweet. probs sometime during the year.. no idea when tho
  5. cool... i cbf downloading firefox to try it out but il take ur word for it... ie 10 treats me just fine.
  6. im going to get some of these plates soon... i will just carry my origianals in the boot and plead ignorance..
  7. ^hoping???? i would be worried if it doesnt... and dont worry its traction that breaks running gear. as long as the wheels are spinning theres almost no load on the drivetrain.
  8. really?? wiring is my fav.. well on mine there is one power wire going to 87 and then back out of 87 into 86. so now that you have power at 85 is there power at 86? if so does it get to the temp sensor? if so does it get to ground? just read ur edit... if the realay is clicking then the low side is all good... check that there is power on the high side now.. check power at 87 and 30... whichever is ur power input... also check fan earth and fan power when temp sensor is grounded. pm me ur number if you want. i will call you.. much easier.
  9. it doesnt matter which way round they are. as long as the high and low side are seperate... you shouldnt need to warm it up, just ground the wire on the temp sensor.
  10. well then there is either no power to the relay or the relay is faulty.. check for power at 85... the way i did mine was just ran a jumper wire from 30 to 85 and you will probs want about a 15a fuse, and 15a wiring too.
  11. ^have a look and text me man... need one in the next week or so.
  12. here is how it should look... if you bridge 87 and 30 and it goes that means the trigger side of its not working... check that you have wired up 86 and 85 properly, also check the grounds. does the temp sensor earth through the motor or a seperate earth? just check where you have power up to.
  13. dont f. around with a 2.3 and oversize pistons and all, imo the best bang for buck would be to put together the 2.7 and throw a turb at it.
  14. yeah shipping is not cheap.. it should go well behind my 2.5
  15. Hey guys.. after a 4.45 diff for my e30.. dont care what condition, and i know they are worth almost nothing because who the hell wants a 4.45?? so dont try and sell me an overpriced one... pref in wellington... let me know... cheers oli
  16. skiiiid machine... love it..
  17. i will join you one day.... all in good time... can just imagen opp lock all the way through the infeild of manfield now... ahhhhhh..
  18. i would say either the float is full of petrol, the diafram has split or the needle and seat seal for the jet is not sealing... if your mechanically minded i would suggest a rebuild of the carby.
  19. you can probs run about 6-7 psi on stock motor, but dont be supprised if you end up doing a h.g in near futer... but hey try it and see.. when i tinkered with a turbo m20 i was going to put a t3-t4 turb on my 325, it would have spooled at abou 3-3200 which would be ideal.. just have to squeeze it in there... im fairly sure thats about the same size as a rb25...
  20. for your oil line run a Tpeice where your oil light switch currently is, you will want about a -6 feed line, and for your return something like a 1/2" or 3/8" and the easiest place to put it is into the sump, as high up the sump as humanly possible... dont go into the sump plug.. try and get a t3/t4 turbo, this will spool nice and quick on a 2.5 and will be big enough for your boost requirements.. if you want to stick with factory computer ATLEAST get a remap. otherwise go aftermarket (which i see you dont want to do) im pretty sure the injectors are high impedence and if you only want 8psi then factory injectors should be ok, so long as you get it remaped to adjust opening duty cycles etc.. if you need to go bigger i know that holden v6 injectors fit straight in... they are a heap bigger. rising rate fuel pressure is a must... not sure if this is controlled through the computer on a m50 or not.....???? f.p should handle ok for low boost. would recommend metal head gasket and arp head studs. and personally i wouldnt run coolant through my turbo.. but thats just me...
  21. i should sell the race car and buy this and throw a cage at it.
