hey guys, have a dereged facelift e30 coupe shell if anyones wanting one, no lights, bumpers, motor, box, front guards, dash, still on wheels has some blue cloth interior in it but mainly good for parts or maby a race car. havent found any rust in it apart from some surface stuff at battery box. $20 for whoever wants to pick it up and take it away, will need a trailer to take as only has handbrake. cheers oli

imo it would have to be an event that caters for everyone. track day, show n shine, the whole boot sale and company stools, something like paintball or gokarting for those who would be interested, those who would want could go into town on one of the nights, something like the silvia club with the shownshine on the main road. Something that everyone could come to and have a good time, but we will have to determine what is doable.

i like the sounds of this, any more info on how they went about setting it up? costs etc?

this sounds like a good idea, those who want to could marshal, race, and everyone could have a good weekend of watching motorsport and drinking boose. what would be the ideal amount of time to stay up there for most people? arive sat morning leave sunday night kind of thing? we could also check out other things in taupo ie the huka falls, i think thats what its called anyway.

Hey guys. Was just reading through the Hamilton Night e30 pics thread. I have an idea of a big nationwide meet up, maby a weekend in taupo or something or a couple of days over newyears? I want to organise a big meet up but cant do it alone, so if anyone has some ideas about how to do this please either pm me or post up here, Sorry it should have been in the meeting topic but i dont think it applies to any paticular region, Come on guys help me make this work, Cheers Oli

very sharp mate, i used to have one of these on 19s, they are such a nice ride but they also have quite a sporty feel too. those motors get up and go alright too.

sounds like tps or airleaks, possibly idle control valve too, remove tps, check the tab is not broken or anything, make sure it moves etc, try running car with it disconnected and see if that makes a difference, also give your idle control valve a good tap with the handle end of a hammer incase its sticking. does your idle hunt at all?

place in naenae will compress your springs, about $90 a pair, the place is called NZ springs, They do it properly to so there are no heat spots or brittle parts in the spring, they also re temper them so they dont break

ok so here is the latest, went over wiarapa today. (weather was GREAT.) Have some pictures to upload at some point. got my springs back the other day. the car will be considerably low. about 70mm from the rails. have just got it tinted too. I am not going to put the springs in until i get my wheels but it should look good when its done. i know some people on here wont like it and think its very boyracery but I think its going to look good, not too boyracery but boyracery enough if you get what i mean. Will update pics soon.

you should get some springs like mine for your borbets, i calculated it the other day, with my bottle caps on if i put the springs in the rails will be 70mm off the ground ..... but owell. it will look good with the wheels, you just need some streched tyres on your rims and lower it like that and it will look v.nice how did you get on with dying the parcel tray? i am thinking of doing this myself. any streaks or anything?
