possible the computer took offence to the shorting accross the battery

got 1 less 200cc, drill out the pistons you may be able to make 2.4 lol

The red battery light on your dash is a signal light to tell you the altinator is charging the battery. when the engine starts it powers up the altinator. when the altinator is powered up it will turn the light off on your dash. Sounds to me like a flat battery. if battery is too flat to crank the car but got enough charge to have dash lights and so on you quite often make the battery light flash as you try to crank it, Try jump starting or charging the battery and see how you go.

for sale m20b23 short block, has done aprox 10k since rebuild. was rebuilt to factory specs. can also include a 731 head that was a BRAND NEW head about 10k ago not brand new valve train but was all mesured and checked during rebuild. 600 for block and head or 300 for short block either pm me or text/call 0274839222 cheers Oli

easyest way is to get a deep reach 17mm socket. put enough extensions on it so that you can access it through the top of the engine bay.

its a fibreglass kit. and is scratched and chipped to bugery. spoke to the guy today and he doesnt think it would make it out of chch with the trans.

I will buy it for kit. if anyone wants to buy the wheels or anything else. pm me with a price and we can sort something out.

sometimes the blue wire or the amp power craps out in the head unit. in which case just power the amp off a accessory wire. ie cig lighter.

hey guys. i need to get some guages, tacho, fuel that will work in e30 tank, speedo, bat +, oil pressure coolant temp. need aftermarket guages and want relitavly good quality ones. what brand should i be looking for? Please dont suggest factory e30 stuff as that is what i am moving away from. hopefully a speedo that will work with e30 factory pickup. Cheers for any help. oli

Hey guys, i am after a driveshaft out of a 320i with a 240 box. Would prefer just the front half with the hanger bearing but can negotiate. Prefer in welly but not essential. Price negotable. Cheers guys.

well that expains it Anyone have a 240 driveshaft from a 320i? prefer just the front peice with the hanger bearing if possible.

So long story short. I used to have a getrag 260 in my e30 race car, Replaced it with a 240 and kept the same driveshaft. Because the driveshaft was too short it fouled on the selector leaver when selecting 2nd. I just bought a 240 driveshatf off forrest, swaped hanger bearings over and that driveshaft is too long. The 260 shaft front half when bolted to the gearbox is 50mm too short for the hanger bearing to bolt up. The 240 shaft front half when bolted to the gearbox is 50mm too long for the hanger bearing to bolt up. Is there another driveshaft that is in the middle??? or is something completely up the shoot? Any help apreciated. For those who dont know its a pfl 325i with a getrag 240
