hey guys i need some headers for my 325 engine. im looking for some decent headers but dont want to break the bank in the process. you guys know a good place to get some?

my 325i engine has a blanking plate for the dissy on the side and all the gearing inside for it. so i need new gbox and flywheel? or you reckon i could just drill the holes in the box for the sensors?

so if i make the pfl 325i fl by getting a facelift loom and ecu and new crank pully and using my old dissy on the side of the block that should be all sweet?

so the bottom line is can this conversion be done? is there anything else that may cause an issue? a straight anser is realy needed here.

yeh its soooo fun. a few years ago (back in the day wen i was a wee lad) in england me and my mate started doing it. ofcorse we wernt pros or anything but we had alot of fun. and ended up in hospital a few times too. but it was worth it

before you check the spark plugs crank it over abit. when you remove spark plugs try and smell for fuel. when you have done that take no1 spark lead off and hold it against the block while someone cranks it. listen for a clicking sound or you may see a spark coming out of the lead.

hey. i have a pfl 325i engine. with a motronic v1.1 set up where the tdc lug is on the flywheel. the problem is my gearbox is a getrag 240 and doesnt have the sensor holes for the tdc sensors. i spoke to a guy called ray from auckland and he suggested going facelift by getting a new front pully loom ecu dizzy and crank position sensor at the front. but he was not sure if this way would work out or not. can someone please give me some advice on this situation. much apreciated. oli

dont go to repco they rip you off. go somewhere like super cheap. anywhere but repco

hey. i am after a fl flywheel for my e30 325i motor. also need a dissy that sits up by the cam and a throttle body and air flow meter. not worried so much about throttle body and air flow meter at this point in time but flywheel and dissy are critical. can anyone help me out? many thanks oli

regarding the last coment about the lug on the fl flywheel. could i just get a fl flywheel and bolt it straight on. also can i use the dissy from my 320 which is on the side of the block? as i noticed there is a blanking plate in the place where it would go and there are all the gears etc inside the block for it? anyone know where i can get a fl flywheel from?

i cannot see one on the front of the engine so im asuming its in the belhousing. i am pretty sure its a pfl motronic v1.1

v1.1 ecu with 2 rows of pins. and the crank pully is smooth it has no teeth in it if that helps? maby a flywheel. i need to find out if i can use my pfl one from 320i or not. throttle body air flow meter

depends on labour prices where you go etc. rule of thumb is the garage will send the head away to get crack tested pressure tested and plained. that will cost you about 200 to 250 plus say 6 hours labour could be around 500 to 700 as a rough estimate.

hey. i got a 1987 325i motor at home minus flywheel and ecu. the loom has 2 rows of pins in it. so i think i need a motronic v1.1 but i am not certain. and can i use the flywheel from my pfl 320i?

the bolt is usualy denser than the metal it is bolting into so when you heat it the metal around it expands more than the bolt thus freeing it up. anyone know how to tell what ecu i need to get for my 1987 325i motor. it has got 2 rows of pins on the loom conector. and if i can use my pfl flywheel from my 320i?????
