  1. Who the hell would own that monstrosity of a thing! I swear my eyes started bleeding!
  2. Wow, you'll make a killing Graham!
  3. Seat, floor, road, that's all yours is Tom, plus the best intake noise in the world. You don't have anything to worry about. Why would you ever buy a car that costs that much to run? I imagine most don't leave their garages much?
  4. I do believe if the HID does fault then a new headlight will be required which will then need to be coded to the vehicle haha, so your half right.
  5. Come on Tom, the sarcastic font is there for a reason
  6. Hence why it's not named an M1. I've never coded an F01 for replacing a bulb?
  7. That's really neat, awsome noise.
  8. You can get the inserts that fit the aftermarket stereos, just got to shop around to find a tidy unit without disco lights etc.
  9. The consumer doesn't know the half of it, when they purchase a vehicle they are tought how to operate the gadgetry and that's it, if by chance the vehicle faults it comes to us, we do our thing and back out the door.
  10. I've got eagle F1s at the moment (second set), they are fantastic grip wise, especially in the wet, just wondering how they compare to Adrenalins?
  11. Surprisingly yes, we still get quite a few E30s, E34s, E36s etc, even the odd E28 and E32s, there's a difference when working on these old girls and working on the newer models, i.e, most of the above you can still carry out a basic tune, the new ones are tuned for "life", be it new or old the mechanical side, suspension brakes etc are all the same, the electrics are the ONLY thing different, as technology progresses so do the cars, it's a way of life. To answer your question, i prefer the newer ones to work on, why? Believe it or not, the diagnostic procedure is far more efficient and less complex.
  12. After a second look, that is a very nice car indeed, the KMs are low for these motors, the odd air leak is really the only thing that happens to the motor.
  13. Pre Delivery Inspection, all new cars that arrive to us get one before they go to the customer or on to the yard.
  14. Agreed, the Jeep is such a fun truck to drive, (we're getting the new shape SRT 6.4 next month), the build quality isn't actually that bad, the 6.1 sounds very cool, goes better than any other truck on the road but.......again i did a PDI on one, put $30 of petrol in it, did about 12km in it, only just made it back to work. If you want fun for the money, get one. If you want fuel economy, forget it.
  15. I can back that fully! Performance cars of the 90's are now mundane when compared to family sedans of today, as i previously mentioned, F10 528i would nearly out perform my M3, comfortably.
  16. What about an E60 530d, they're getting cheap now. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-332577141.htm
  17. There's no face palm smiley icon?
  18. 1900kg i think. They are a cool looking car and would be a great cruiser but yeah a V8 would be the way to go.
  19. I'll let you in on a little secret.......don't buy a 3.0i, promise me. I'm sure there will be some cheapish E70 pre LCIs coming up, considering the new diesel engine coming out this year. Don't know a hell of a lot about MLs. Nice Motorsport E46 would be cool, M43 manual with kit and seats etc. Anything you get you'll proberly miss the diesel.
  20. M52 TU motors are actually quite torquey even in a big tank like this, they don't go bad at all.
  21. I think it must be just the M vehicles then.
