With the M3, 5 and 6 the chassis number starts with WBS, if you ordered a motorsport vehicle from factory would that also be WBS or the normal WBA?
-
All i was saying was that they pull up my car pretty bloody quickly and with Josh's car being lighter..... But with the amount of money already being spent why not go all out.
-
Clearly you haven't been in a modern BMW, the six/eight speed trans change f**king quick! When you want to kick down, it doesn't go down through every gear, it will jump several according on where your foot is, how fast the vehicle is traveling and where the revs are.
-
Back in the dark ages they were using wood.
-
Oh i didn't realise you had a semi race set up going on.My M3 rotors are the same with the cooling fins, they're not straight, they also swirl outwards, i must say the factory setup is brilliant, it's never faulted, did you ever think of running an M3 setup?

332bhp isn't 250KW?
-
That's very weird, the email we were sent at work (Jeff grey) gave us all the stats, release dates etc, definitely wasn't 250KW, if that is the case your chipped 335 wouldn't have sh*t show beating it!
-
Were you suffering brake fade?
-
Nope, same horsepower, maybe more torque, unsure yet? They're basing this model on handling.
-
Ha tell me about it.
-
Again same motor, considering yours was chipped you would expect that, if it wasn't the M would leave 335 in it's dust.
-
Does Heineken sponsor you Pete? You always seem to have one in your photos with the label pointing outwards haha.
-
Pffft, Toyota, i mean Lexus haha. Your user name intrigues me Mike, is your 325 a V8?
-
M coupe has the same engine as the 135i but they have concentrated on handling and lightness with the M, E92 M3 is still quicker though.
-
That was a very good clip, explains it all very clearly too.
-
I'm guessing you have the 18 button OBC CJ?
-
Lock ya sheds down tight boys!
-
Can't say i'd want to do 280kph with no seat belt and an airbag warning light on the cluster.

BMW Performance steering wheel. Factory ordered equipment.

I personally like the new look of most of the BMWs, when the F10 was first released i had to do a PDI on a F10 528, the most billy basic version, still had all you needed too, on the road test it was far from boring, in fact my M3 would have struggled to keep up with it, Valvetronic, Vanos, variable intake, some of the character items that make these new cars fun and interesting, it's hard to understand when you don't work on/drive them everyday. And no i'm not biased, unlike most of the people here i'm not a one brand person as most of you know.
-
No it's basically just a self check, BMW put it in there for just that.
-
Sorry to burst your bubble, it's not a secret, we do this all the time at work to self check vehicles, reset clusters etc. Edit: I just had a quick skim so must have missed it but you can see acutely how many litres of fuel you have on each side of the fuel tank also.
-
Butt ugly and boring, not for me!
-
Tar and glue, repco have their own branded stuff, it does work.

I'm sorry but i have to hold myself back for that comment.E38, we have plenty of these coming to us still, back in the late 90s when they were first produced everyone like YOU were saying "oh imagine in 10 years time what the electrics are gonna be like" well it's been 10 years plus and me personally haven't seen a thing go wrong with one, just servicing and the like. Alternators....are mechanical, had a few water cooled alternators run bearings, but guess what bearings come under, yep that's right, mechanical.
