If you having trouble finding someone I can try getting in touch with my old friend Victor. He now has a professional automotive photography service and I think his work speaks for itself... http://www.photomotive.co.nz/ http://www.facebook.com/pages/Victor-Yuen-...185714444833243 Old shots he did of my Tech-II http://www.flickr.com/photos/viktro/sets/72157623111760026/

Yep, well summed up there man. I'm also in the app development game and have a company that specializes in developing Windows Phone applications. As you said, the success of the platform is going be directly related to Nokia and the miracle they will be pulling off later this year / early next year Having said that, I'm still carrying a galaxy S... as you said, it's truly the ideal 'geek' phone. Mind if I ask what sort of apps you guys develop? Always keen to hear what other fellow kiwis are up to in the mobile industry, we've got some awesome stuff coming out of lil ol NZ...

Reading through peoples comments it's hardly a case of 'hate'... Most are saying it's his car and as long as he likes it that's all that matters. That doesn't mean they have to like the mods, I for one loved the car as it was and unfortunately can't say that anymore. Yongxi, I know EXACTLY how you feel about wanting to put your own stamp on the car, I have also been 'burdened' with acquiring a members car that has been highly customized. I think the key is to recognize that the car will forever be tied to the person who started the project and not make changes simply for changes sake. When such a high standard has been set, improving on it really takes a lot of thought, planning and probably quite a bit of money! I think this is probably why so many are disagreeing with the direction your taking. Having said that, you're never going to please everyone. Once again, your car, your taste and as long as you like it... go hard mate !

And here I was considering myself a 'fussy' car owner... I think you've re-defined the term! Can't wait to see what you're going to do next! p.s. If you ever consider selling your car shotgun first in line

shame they had to leave the country

BBS RS003's, lock it in Eddy! Set acquired, bits being ordered, colours being decided. The plan - Gold bolts - 2.5" polished rear lips - 1" polished front lips - polished aluminium half-hex caps - Black/Gold 3D BBS badges Suggestions for mesh color? Thinking something like this...

Mate... told ya give me a ring or PM or something, would have caught up

Yeh man, not ideal at all... hopefully with the 16" clearing the brakes properly I can run smaller spacers. I know with Jed's 15's it only JUST managed to fit without scraping
-
You in Christchurch?

Was having a chat with Jed before and seems like getting 1.5" lips on the front might be pushing it so may have to consider sticking with 1"... Here is a photo of what his 15x6.5 ET 33 rims looked like with 23mm spacers on. Using the wheel offset calculator a 16x7 ET25 rim will poke out an extra 14mm. Calculation: http://www.1010tires.com/wheeloffsetcalculator.asp Current wheel spec: Width 6.5 / Offset 10 (33 - 23mm spacer) New wheel spec: Width 7 / Offset 2 (25 - 23mm spacer) Outer position: Extend extra 14mm So if I'm to get another half inch put on with the 1.5" lip I would get something like 27mm (14mm + 1/2 inch) poke outside the guard.. thinking that would need serous guard work to pull off? So... looks like the best option is to run 1" lips front 2.5" lips back for final setup of: 16x7 (1" lips) + 23mm spacers 16x8.5 (2.5" lips) rears Got stagger?? "

Ok, revival of thread once again... For the pro's what would you recommend: BBS RS003 Rear: 16x9 ET0 (3" lips) or 16x8.5 ET12 (2.5" lips) Fronts will be: 16x7.5 + 23mm spacer = ET13 (1.5" lips) Need to decide today if I'm going ahead or not. Blackie what setup do you have on yours again?
-
My bad, never knew you can do that!? Surely it would bubble somewhere?
-
I'm with kingkarl on this one, spend the money elsewhere i.e. sick set of mags? Also consider that painting a genuine M3 that sort of color will most likely drastically reduce your market if you ever want to sell it.

Build up those 15's man !
