thanks very much on the heads up Garett, Ran a tape over the springs got 140mm with( no adjustment parts installed). ( it says so on the side of the springs ) I've got e46 swing arms/ control arms that lower it by 30 -35 mm so in the ball park of what you suggest. On your 18x10's did you roll the guards.

Ahmed, My guess is I have a date with a grinder and the guards, ...... would love to push for 18x10 wheels on the back.... more rubber, = wider track width. In my mind anyways.

thanks Ash, Progress to date. Front brakes fitted , very cool. wheels are 18x8.5 with et40 ( I may not use these wheels but something close) 17.5 mm spacers Everything misses with good clearance. Question.......... How far can you roll guards before A) they look stupid, and are not practicable and I need to look at flares ( wheels are 13mm past guards ). Side note, I find working on cars therapeutical, there's something about pulling it apart and putting it back together that's relaxing, don't know if I could do it for a living.

more bling on the doorstep. Pavlov Racing control arms are fabricated from thin wall 4130 chromoly steel. These arms are 100% TIG welded and fully argon backpurged. They are then stress relieved, heat treated, and powder coated. These arms are available in stock length +10mm and +16mm longer per side for increased track width. Standard inventory is 10mm wider track width. These arms weigh 3.8lbs, The arms use high misalignment oversized bearings which allow for increased suspension travel without bearing binding. The arms also allow for bearings to be replaced using a simple press in press out method and replacement parts are easily available. Simply pop out the snap ring and press the old bearing out and the new one in. and Front Control Arm Rear Brackets from AKG these are adjustable

Todays mission after lunch was to remove the fuel tank clean and replace. But before I reinstall it I was thinking of future proofing the car by reinforcing plates where the sub frame and rear trailing arm sit. There are kits you can buy cut to size, just weld in place. What do you guys think. Pics....
