How is a objective noise test carryed out ? I've herd that they stand 30 meters at a right angle to the exhaust and take it up to 3500rpm...........I don't know how true this . 95db is pretty loud , just go listen to speedway .

A race where manufacturers display proof of how good their production car is. Like the 1930's Which comes first , manufacturers designing new products for their cars and testing them on the race track or useing the data from the teams to design better car inside the rules that seem tobe getting very restrictive. Bit like the chicken and the egg . which one comes first . I would like to see more manufacturers in the series , like the good old days of Bathurst . good point , but were not aloud to use forged pistons and after market parts . pistons $1450 cam$700 new inlet and exhaust valves you name it , it was replaced

yea

too date i've spent $9600 and thats for the block and head all parts , machining and labour . the only thing i did'nt replace is the crankshaft.....still to come dizzy cap , leads , hoses etc...... it's not cheap!!!
