Yeah, he said about 1600 for I think the box alone. I'm not sure which company he used though, will PM him now. A quick google and check on the fedex site shows I might be able to get this landed in NZ for about the same with all the extras?? Not 100% sure on sizes and weights though, but have guesstimated them.

Try get in contact with Ray (hellbm on the forums) and Simon* on the forums, both own these awesome cars and could tell you a lot more about them.

As Mark has said, the 540is is head and shoulders above the standard auto. I'd imagine for a minter somewhere in the region of 10-15k? I'd say a decent knick auto 540i is about 5 give or take.

I'm pretty sure the 535is had m badges. Hot e34 mate.

Hey Brent, i've just had a look and no, there is nothing connected to the white wire. I don't think there ever was? I will splice it into my switched power and give it a go, if still no luck ill give you a call, thanks.

Hey guys, I've wired my headunit up, it turns on etc, but no sound comes out. I suspect the factory amp has something to do with this? I've read on the net if I bypass this completely, I will lose the use of the cross-over and only be able to support 4 speakers, instead of the 10 I currently have. Please let me know your thoughts and some ways of getting around this. Cheers, Ian.

I got my dogbones for $30 each from Autolign. So you're saving what? $12 in total? haha

I just used some vernier calipers (cheap as $4 from supercheap for a plastic piece of crap...did the job and the bushes I ordered were the right size!)

I guess it's only going to appreciate from now onwards
