-
Mate, puke is THE reason I want to do all this stuff. I had a blast
-
Thanks. Nah, figured what else can I buy that goes as hard as this, is as comfortable/well equipped as this, for as CHEAP as this...and I don't have to go through the damned hassle of selling/buying a car.
-
Haha, Keith was telling me about selling the rears of his last set to someone with a blue e34!! Good stuff, any pics? Shocks were $1250 inc GST HAHA, crackup Mark . I'll be sure to put up some before and after pics for you guys to see.
-
Haha, that's one way to put it. Can't wait to see how she handles afterwards

Good job Graham. Atta?

Do it once, do it right. I also figured, hell...I have to take apart the strut to change the springs WHY NOT DO THEM BOTH AT THE SAME TIME!!?!??
-
Haha, i'm almost certain i'll get fed up with them in the cupboard and be bored out of my brains *pulls out jack and axle stands* Still on the hunt for gearbox etc and exhaust as a guesstimate will either be in a few weeks time or after springs and shocks installed.
-
A big thanks to Keith for the springs (forum sponsor Keith) and Evan at Speedfactor for the shocks Speedfactor. Will probably sort after uni's finished, so they'll be gathering dust the next few weeks
-
He's kind of got his exhaust done and has posted vids of how it's turned out etc......

Hi guys, as per the title, i'm after one (when planting it halfway through corners and the trans kicks down, the pump makes a grinding noise and the steering wheel becomes hard to turn with no power steering assist. So i'm guessing the pump is on it's way out....yes it has fluid, and no the belt is not slipping.) Please post your best price for a good condition one here or PM me. Cheers, Ian.

Haha, nice. Any other cool stats like this you can find/post??

Surely someone wants an m30 manual 5speed gearbox? Open to offers (nothing ridiculous please)
-
I guess when buying/selling it's also useful?

Swaybar links might be stuffed/loose. Jack car up and check them out. New ones are about $30 each.
-
Car still available? Got a mate who might be interested
-

Righty ho. Warren said he could get them from germany and we'd be looking at about 4k. He said he will speak to his contact and see what he can sort out in regards to further prices etc. edit - and it sounds like 6speed (as he said from e39??)
-
Will do Brent. Might give him a ring now. Mine is NZ New and has no cats either. Just figured i'd get something a little louder. Cheers Brent

Perhaps flick Glenn a PM, he might be able to provide a little insight as to how the computer works etc??

I was just going to get a 5speed, a lot lighter on the pocket. Sam (member who is doing m60 into e30) said shipping from states was $NZ 1600 for him...so a cheaper box would help in this case. There was a bloody 5speed on there for $250 USD a couple of days ago, unfortunately it sold before I could sort my funds out. Grabbing a 6speed would cost me somewhere in the region of $4-5k NZD I imagine. First on the cards is exhaust and suspension. Any other options you can think of Brent? Or anyone else?
