Nice car mate.... the 92 M50's can be turboed no probs. Expensive though... Welcome to the site!
-
I too am siding with the "oldies". Let's create a thread where everyone who wishes to can hang out and talk about ridin' looooooow and leave the rest of the forum available for more pressing matters. It's kind of like Britain shipping all the criminals off to Australia back in the day....except on the internet.

Take printouts from Trademe of similar cars to show you're not a tyre-kicker and offer him what you think it's worth giving evidence as to why... what's the worst that could happen? He says "no" and you walk away knowing at least you tried!
-
Hmmmm, I guess whether you buy or not depends on how much you want the car and if it's worth eating noodles for the rest of your life to pay for car repairs! From the above list it looks like the car hasn't been serviced very well throughout it's life, so there may be scarier things that pop up in the future that could cost big bucks! Anyway.... good luck!

$5590 is a pathetic fine! That's barely a slap on the wrist for a company that will have made thousands from the dodgy sales of those cars. They should have been fined 50 grand, that would have made them think twice about not supplying SINs in the first place!
-
That's a LOT of money for a piece of plastic that holds drinks (and IIRC, it only fits cans, not fast food drink cups)! Can't you just have a drink once you get where you're going? Or before you leave even?
-
I'm still confused..... that's definitely an M-tech kit you have on your car..... you even list it in your avatar as an "'96 323i M-Spec coupe". Did you retro-fit the rest of the kit as well? If you've managed to fabricate a M-spec lookalike front bumper from a non-M bumper you are the man!
-
You already have an Motorsport front bumper.... why would you need mine? Confused!
-
Hmmm... now the question begs to be answered. Is this the real strat1... or just an imposter? With regards to lawyer's getting involved though. I imagine a lawyer's services would sting you more than the $2200 you didn't accept for the 535!

There have been many examples of awesome forum pwnage in the past.... we should, no, we MUST, make this one of them! Get to it everyone!

98 rules! I'm glad BP has gone with the higher octane option. The downside is that they can charge what they want for it because no one else has it! I definitely feel the difference when running 98 over 95, my car runs a lot smoother, more powerfully and it's more economical too.

Anyone else noticed that this guy asks questions on auctions and expects reasonable and informative answers, yet he 's a blunt and arrogant a-hole when anyone asks a question about one of his listings?
-
Hey man, I'm becoming a "backseat buyer" here (getting excited about someone elses purchase)! This is cool! OBC was merely an option on any E36... the more buttons you wanted the more you paid. Obviously most M3 owners optioned the 18 button because if you can afford to buy a top of the line new BMW you can afford all the gizmos too! Good luck with the purchase.... but I reckon you should DEFINITELY take it for a rigorous drive before buying it. Imagine if you find something horrendously wrong with it once you get it down to CHCH and you can't sell it for what you bought it for!

Pics of your lip compulsory!

Useful info... cheers Allan, will have to look into it, prices even with freight could still be cheaper than BMW NZ!!!

This bumper is back on Trademe due to the sale falling through. Ideally I would like someone in Christchurch to buy this.... however, if you wish to ship it to your address you will need to arrange everything. New link
-
That is horrendous!! In saying that, if I ever attempted to build a homemade car, it would probably turn out looking a lot like that!
-
From memory, Pelican Parts don't ship internationally... only within the "great nation of America". All good though, no cupholders means no drinks in my car and I like it that way!
-
One more for fun... I love this shot.

I'm trying to keep everything original as possible (bar era-specific cosmetic enhancements), so I'll be keeping it I think!Â

It's been long enough... leave him bad feedback. Also, if you give the bank a call, sometimes they can reverse transactions if you explain what has happened. (Might be too far gone as it was a while ago now) I'm having the exact opposite problem to you at the moment. A guy paid me for a bumper I'm selling but then hasn't been in touch with me for over a month now! I have no address to send the bumper, his email address no longer works and I have $400 of his money! What to do?!

Buy Riley's (drifty340iV8) 16 inch ACS wheels..... he's looking for offers at the moment. Nice car BTW!
-
Very much doubt it.... that's owned by the magwarehouse franchise. Would be good if you could access something similar though, it's a cool piece of kit!
