Right, so no rego... which means it has to be re-vinned etc. Must have been something wrong with it for it to be taken off the road. I'll put that one in the too-hard basket for now.... NEXT!

You're spelling it wrong! BeyernWheels.com

1987 M325i This car has been on Trademe for months and months (I think even before I bought my car, so over a year in fact!) It's had nearly 10,000 views. What's wrong with it? The price is perhaps a little high... but the km's are good - even if they are miles - the car looks tidy. Is it being misrepresented by the owner? Is there something hideously wrong with it? Has anyone on here from BOP been to check it out?

Style 5's! Woot! (Best part of the car IMO... oh, sorry Simon...)

A rather old gag... and Moktar, I'm sure you'll be pleased to know that the "woman" in that picture is actually a man! (Don't ask me how I know... the internet just knows)

Do a 2.7 conversion while you're at it!Â

I reported his listing... he'll be back though, where else can he sell his stable of crapbucket cars that has such a huge viewership?
-
And he's using the alias "Monique" hahahah!!!

The infamous red 535i is back! And this time the story is that the car was stolen and painted matte black!!! Oh how I did ROFL! What a Tardme

Another point I think you're missing is that the 318is gearbox won't bolt up to the 325i engine anyway... so you'll have to do the gearbox swap regardless. The other option if you're really averse to having a 4 door is find a good 320i coupe and swap a M20B25 in.

This has been discussed many many times... most recently in this thread about 10 minutes ago! Do a google search for "E36 manual conversion" all the info you need will show up. EDIT: BTW, if your E36 is a 1996 it will be a 323i, not a 325i.

Don't mess with a 318is... full stop. The cheapest option is probably to convert an auto 325i to manual.

There's only 25 in the country (prob less than that actually) chances are you'll have to travel to get one!!

Is it a light to tell you that you have exceeded 100k's an hour? a lot of jap import cars have this sort of warning.

I've said this before and I'll say it again: The BMW Individual programme has a lot to answer for!

Mike "323e30" had some aftermarket ones for sale... not sure if he has any left though (And his PM inbox is always full too ha!)

www.carjam.co.nz If you're desperate to find out... you can get the owners details for $7.

If you install 6 cylinder springs the car will sit too high as they are stiffer to account for the extra weight of the 6 cyl engine.

I'm looking at buying... RVT... do you just bring cars in for yourself, or do you bring them in to sell on?

It's an American one, but pretty much everything is the same: e36manual.pdf

I've used the Mothers clay bar and the Turtle Wax Liquid Clay Bar. The Liquid one is rubbish, mainly because you can't see what kind of gunk you're pulling out of the paint and also you're using the one sponge surface for the entire car which means you're obviously letting the dirt build up in the sponge ready to let it scratch the paint elsewhere on the car! Mothers is good. I pulled a lot of dirt out of the paint with it. Plus for your $50 you get the Instant Detailer (which rules, gives a great finish after waxing too) and the Carnauba Cleaner Wax as well.

Unless you remove it like on mine.
