My old mans had his 1988 911 Carrera for 15yrs and its been pretty darn good relaibility wise, his has the 3.2 with a Getrag gearbox though so a little different i think. I love it, its great fun to drive but just not fast enough, thats not what these cars are about though

Thats ^^ a pretty impressive project we need more pics. Not a fan of the exhausts though Just on the e36 diff cover mod, Instead of that I utilized my e30 mount but reinforced it big time with an extra steel plate and mounting points and it was allot cheaper and plenty enough for a road/track e30 with our sort of TQ

I'm not convinced by the exhaust, I looked seriously for mine but I just don't think the look suits e30s for some reason, there are a few e30s ive seen on the net with twins and its just not quite right. But thats not to say you couldn't make it look right

A few tweaks here and there and it be very cool, not a big rotary fan but they rev so well

Just as I thought mate thanks. Oh and on the new GC Camber plates you do not have to cut the struts to get full adjustment as the allen head bolts are now flush. Also you only really need 2x the bolts to lock them in correctly so im told by various people. This wont be a concern for me as i wont be running that much castor

Hey Guys, As some of you are aware ive just got my GC adjustable camber/caster plates from the states via Henry (thanks again mate) 1) Now im just in the mist of putting them in and getting them ready for the track day thats coming up on the 2nd, Now im pretty much only going to the track with this setup so i can be quite aggressive for now as im pulling out the suspension again in a month or so to replace some spring pads etc (on way from the states) In setting up mine I should try for max Castor? I'm planning on running around 2.4degrees camber, I also have to be mindful that i will be running some old Michelin slicks 2) What setup would you suggest i run on the road with my 16x9s with 225/45/16s? I cant get to aggressive with Castor as my fat wheels and low offset will be be very close to my front guards. I'm wanting to run around 2.4degres camber on the road as well to help tuck the tires Race guys id love your input. Cheers

A rear strut brace on an e30 is a waste of time due to how the suspension geometry is setup, your $$ are better spent on upgraded shock mounts for the rear. On the front there are definite benefits in running a brace, reduced rattle and bump steer for me quite allot and ive try it on and off several times to be sure. But for a $75 dollar one i wouldn't bother, its more than likely crap and will flex badly

If your going to run two pipes definitely run a y pipe merge, In my opinion id run twin 2.25inch off the extractors into a y with a 2.5inch system for the rest. Listen to m60 swapped e30s on youtube they sound like arse with big twins or a single 3inch.

Id love to have a dog setup but its out of the question $$ wise, I only wanted to get some upgraded bearings and give it a freshen up but hes gone to the next step. At least I wont need to worry about it now lol
