Is an e21 m20 ignition barrel etc the same as an e30? Got a mate who's doing up one but needs a new ignition and wiring Any help appreciated Riley
-
Sure does, puts a smile on my dial thats for sure. Thats no where near as light as it could be though if i striped it a bit. Alot of e30s are running around with only 1050kgs so still plenty there

Hi guys, Cars going through cert at the moment (finally in known) (gotta love dealer plates ) But one of the small problems Ive ran into is the certifier has found the speedo to be off by 9kms @100kph What could cause this? I'm running the standard LSD 3.73 diff with sensor, 225/45/16s so they are within factory suggested tire diamiters. I cant figure it out? But in saying that the more i think about it the more i realize i don't think that needs to be certed as its all factory? nothing has been changed. Any ideas? can you adjust the calibration? I don't have to for cert but id like to get the tach sorted at the same time. Obvioulsly the input for the tach on my car is for a 6cylinder engine and now its a v8 so it does not read right. Any idears how to calabrate the to? ill probably have to send it into parrotts in chch Cheers Riley

I no how you feel fella, they are very rare parts indeed. Fingers crossed you get it as it will really set off your car! My story goes as follows......While having a yarn with Pete from eurowreck one day I noticed stuffed in the corner a rather dirty e30 parked in the corner (had just came off the boat from the UK) Upon further examination i realized it had a mint condition ACS front bumper, need less to say i thru my wallet at Pete ($120 from memory hehe) and walked out an extremely happy man!
