Mine is different to eh Bently diagram and anything i can find online. I have a ebox in the pass side corner of the engine bay and another smaller one with space for 3 relays in it e30 style. Battery is under rear seat.

I've had a look at kiwishipping.co.nz, part of mainfreight. Seems like the minimum is $250 but you can add more stuff for small increases. Would suit a bulk or combined lot. Not sure how the NZ$400 normal limit would apply but its GST on the value over $400 i think. I'm looking at some e39 parts soon.

My e39 528i is currently running munro fronts with the factory springs and handling is getting a bit soft. Car now has new WOF after 2 new tie rods, new wiper arms, new front pads. Wheels have been aligned and it drives great. Was a bonus to find the car has msport suspension. This will be for sale in a few weeks (after i get a 540 running) but open to expressions of interest.

Did you not read the ebay listing? postage was included at $155. Maybe Jeff doesn't want every TDOH asking for the same info who knows. I have been waiting to hear from the guy, its euroland so theres an email lag. He's $516 plus duty and GST, unpainted and no fogs. Ebay looks like the go i hoped there would be a saving on combined postage but no. good luck.

I have seen a few fronts that look ok, this one; http://www.ebay.com/itm/180923547033?item=...#ht_2796wt_1030 offers 10% on 5 or more = $472 plus some likely duty/GST, including the fogs no bulbs. Painting is extra. $400 seems to be the rate for a non-msport bumper here, which may noy be the right colour anyway.

Bonnet fix is going to have to be done by a pro. Anyone recommend a good paintless dent repairer - mobile or fixed? Standard DIY ettiquette dictates you have a go yourself then get the dent man to fix if/when it all goes wrong...... BTW, heard from e39 bumper man outside ebay- can i ask what you paid for yours?

Ok, so to get them shortened it is a shop job with the shock assembled? does the captive part only apply to the rears due to the fronts being in a strut? and you shorten them by how much the drop is i guess?

Is it necessary to have shocks shortened if fitting lowering springs? Thinking about lowering my PFL 325i and have some M3 e30 springs or some msport struts complete to use. Ive seen examples of m3 springs in 325i's that give a nice drop but i keep hearing about shocks "bottoming out". Is this fact, fiction or does it depend on how much a car is lowered? Also anyone know what spring rate a standard shock will handle ? Cheers

If you need a high pressure intank pump I have a couple of new in the box walbro 255 lph pumps, you will need to make a minor mod to your bracket and solder on. Easy diy.These are rated for e30 m20b25. $120 plus postage

When i bought one, advice from my neighbour who has a full professional workshop sqeezed into a 2 car garage is was to go a minimum 15 cfm. I went 12cfm instead and it shows when using tools that need a lot of air like random orbital sander. If you have some electrical tools or are happy to hire a real compressor for the big jobs it'll be fine to pump up tyres on your bike.... Look on TM for a Hindin Marquip 15 that has been loooked after. FYI - 180l/m converts to 6.35 cfm - pressure also matter so perhaps a tradie can chip in with the real story.

I found this red 325i near waihi with a blown HG. Cheers for the heads up BS trademe section..... The PO was not sure what had caused the breakdown but the car looked like it had been looked after. Had new HG less than a year previous. Found one fire ring that looked crushed? either from install or overheat pressure, and the leak turned out to be the heater core o rings - coolant was boiling out under the carpet. After some fun with a blockage in the thermostat housing its nearly back on the road, just some rack end to fit this weekend thanks to pickapart and a handbrake adjustment. Has new TB, waterpump, a new $400 radiator, new light bar in the OBC, crackless dash, LSD, a Tech 2 wheel. I was intending to keep this one, it reminds me of the first e30 i had, a work car probably 20 years ago - nice exhaust note, the sport switch auto and a good straight body. Not sure about the 15" chromes, the fit good but i have some refurbed 15" weaves that i think will look better. Have been trying to assemble a set of recaros and matching carpet but the mint tan interior is fine for now. Now thinking about an e34 - what do you reckon this would sell for in the current depressed market....? have mowed the lawns.....
