    E36 M3 Cab

Looks mint after a good clean and paint touch up Ray! Hellrot is one of my favourite e36 colours. Let me know if you plan to sell...

    E36 M3 Cab

My coupe does the same thing. Every now and again it will run roughly. Normally happens if it's been started, backed out of the garage, turned off and washed. When I go to start it again it sounds like a diesel. Thought it might be unburnt fuel/running rich. Would never do it when I took it to the dealer, so I'm gonna wait until it gets worse.
  3. If you are wanting factory chrome exhaust tips, you can buy them from the dealer. They just slide on without any fuss.

    e36 Wheels

Hi all, Thought this might be worth a try... anyone in the Wellington region have a spare set of wheels to suit an e36? My mags are going in to be refurbished (paint starting to fade) and they don't have a set that fits while mine are off. Should only be for a week at the most... Possibly needed by the weekend/Monday... Cheers
  6. Hey All, Anyone have the rubber insert that fits in underneath the car below the factory jacking point? It's kinda handy when using a heavy duty jack! Had it at the mechanics during the week and it looks like it's fallen off??? Oh, its the right rear if it makes any difference. Cheers
  7. Hey, Was looking at purchasing one of these a while back. Have you had any quotes to have it painted?
  8. My coupe is making the same sort of noises you seem to be hearing. Once it's driven for a few kilometers, the front clunks and creaks. Only seems to do this when it's not raining. Dropped it into the shock shop last week and was told the sway bar links were both new... they didn't seem sure. When pushing down on the front right, there is a noise coming from the strut (sounds like it)... from reading through the forums, it could possibly be a ball joint or worn control arm. Let me know how you get on.
  9. Hey all, Anyone know a good place in Wellington to sort out stripping and repainting some e36 M3 mags? Cheers
  10. I decided to try Jeff Gray out in Wellington a few weeks back. Excellent fast friendly service... not to pricey either.
  11. Do you mean the plug for the rechargeable torch?

    M323i E6

Mint car! Nice colour. Does the car have dual airbags?
  14. I had a service done at Jeff Gray, and they mentioned the front shocks were worn - reason being that he could lift the front wheels by hand slightly when it was up on the car hoist. Does this sound normal? Could the wrong shocks be in there to begin with? The car has been lowered slightly (previous owner) I believe on Mtech suspension. I'll have to check.
  15. Hi, I'm currently looking for the same thing for my 94 325i coupe. Any suggestions or prices appreciated.
  16. Apparently they're the same for both coupe and four door. Hellrot preferable :-D Pics?
  17. Does he still have the side skirting from the e36 convertible? Notice in the pic it's not attached... :-D
  18. Here is a pic I found with one installed on a non M-Tech bumper:
  19. Hey all, Anyone know if these are for sale in NZ? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/BMW-E36-91-98-M3-St...1QQcmdZViewItem
  20. Hey All, Just found this on TM Link To Site Was wondering if anyone has bought/installed any of these products? I've seen this product on bimmersport before, but at the time didn't have the e36. Any opinions?

    My new E30

    That will buff right out...
  22. Does your insurance plan cover windscreen replacement?
  23. Hi All, On Friday I went to Beaurepairs to get a new set of tyres on my car (Direzza DZ101's... pretty nice tyre for the price). Anyway, the rims were all in great condition with no curb rash etc. Got the car back and noticed yesterday there are big scratch marks on the outer lip that weren't there before and a chunk of paint that has come off in one area! Pretty annoyed about it. There is also a lovely black grease print on my headlining at the top of the windscreen! All in all, it looks as though they were being pretty rough. Question is... what are my chances of going back, complaining and getting this fixed? Has anyone else had their rims damaged by tyre companies? Am I being over the top??? I know this isn't a brand new car (e36), but it is (or was) absolutely mint. If it turns out they won't fix it, does anyone know any places in Wellington where I can get them fixed? Cheers
