Just wish I knew how to spell his name.. Jono, Johno, or Johnno?
-
OH it all makes sense now!
-
Bugger. I'l have to take dudlee to the mount instead.
-
Stop! You're making me wish I kept my mt2.
-
really? I get the wobs from like 90kph onwards. Il have another go mounting them then thanks for the tip. Yea I know about the illegality, I've got wof wheels Jono is looking at hubcentrifying my shiz now. I can't get rings machined up becauase apparently they will be too thin which makes them too brittle.
-
Hey if I get an alignment now then fit spacers to the rear will they throw out my alignment? Also, if my wheels aren't hubcentric does that mean they can't be aligned? Cheers.
-
Yip that makes perfect sense, I see where I misread it. Cheers!

They already have 195/50R16, they don't look lame cause the stretch makes the sidewall look smaller, but they need to be replaced because they've been eaten by the guard lip, so I'l go for a 45 and roll the guards further. If a 50 profile reads faster and a 45 profile reads slower, wtf reads normally? PS, I still want stiffer rear shocks. Hit me upski.

I didn't think camber was adjustable in E30s, even if it was I wouldn't want any more of it for the sake of tyre preservation. The wheels are 16x8 +12, and I want to put an 8mm spacer on the back. My guards could be rolled more I guess. I understand fitting a 45 profile tyre (currently has a 50) would help too, but what effect would this have on speedo reading? Thanks for your help JiB

Oh, ok. I've got voigtlands in the back are they pretty soft?
-
I'm having rubbing issues on the back of my 325i touring under hard acceleration so I want to change the monroes for something stiffer, like bilsteins. I only really need the rears but beggars can't be choosers. If you have some for sale please pm me or text 027 354 5576. Can swap for any of a multitude of other E30 parts, including the near new nice and comfy monroes that are already in there! Max.

I can take it to Hans for you next week, he goes as far as wellington.
-
Nice soft toy collection shady!
-
Egay have already had a go at NZ but it didn't work.
-
+1. I saw an alpine e24 get a little feral trying to go up victoria st and I had a bit of a tank slapper in dudlee.
-
It appears to have come out well... it will be interesting to see if it lasts.
-
Well done. I have 2/3rds of an mt2 kit for sale if you want.
-
Not sure where you are from, but Auckland Engineering supplies have a few options. I picked up a Teng one form there which does 12 - 100something nm and has a degree wheel on the head for doing head bolts and the like (what Glenn said). Was ~$90 with the bimmersport discount. Gl.

I've spotted this twice now - E30 touring. Refreshing to see an E30 still doing big kays daily.
-
Sorry, I was getting a bunch of gay pms and got frustrated. I'l take a pic of the rear next week for you. It is the bumper and the valance and its genuine.
-
NO FIRE! They are just dark blue. Haven't been glued on, in fact most of the original clips are there. They have been taped on at one stage not that that changes anything. They do not need a lot of work FFS. I never intended to fit these when I bought them and I'm not making a profit, there is nothing dodge going on here! The rear is dark blue also. I can't be f**ked taking pics, it looks like any other mt2 rear.
-
To clarify - the $500 includes the rear apron / valance / bumper. I just didn't take any photos of it. Its in good nick.
