Very nice. I'm starting to like e36's more and more lately. Any interior pics?

I love the style of e30 cabs and will definatly look at them when the time comes to update my current e30. i don't see many around Wellington. Dean

I'll definatly check that. Until I discover the cause a friend has been kind enough to lend me a car cover.

No sunroof SIR E30 but thanks for the suggestion

Hi all, Did anyone else in Wellington have trouble with leaky e30's the last couple of days? I thought mine had stopped leaking ever since I cleaned out the "elephant trunk" drain last winter. But it seems to have started again, this time in the rear footwells. God its annoying

Can't believe you're selling it. By far the nicest e36 I have ever seen. Best of luck. Sorry thats off topic.

Cheers Glenn. Thanks very much

Hi guys, CAR: 1988 320i e30, Sedan, facelift Could anyone tell me what the wire is for that runs beneath the carpet on the drivers side in the rear seat footwell? Cheers

Awesome looking car Graham. Best of luck with the sale. Are you upgrading?

BTW i agree with most other people: 1. Consider selling your car 2. Try to work in your holidays and save as much as possible 3. Remember most other people are in the same boat. Most uni students can't afford flash clothes or to eat out all the time. People (that I know) grow up a lot while they are at uni and generally get new priorities etc Lastly, GOOD LUCK with what ever you decide!

Its a very very poor system at the moment. Labour were toting a universal student allowence at the election but only to try and grab votes at the end. If they really wanted to do it they had nine (?) years

Glad you got it all sorted. My friend has a Jeep covered with Lumley and they have been quite good to hime lately. Regular servicing is a requirement for the mechanical insurance if I'm not mistaken??

Student allowence is what you can get if your PARENTS combined income is under $75,855.32 (and you live at home) or $85,237 if you live away from home. You can also get student allowence regardless of your parents income if you are over 24. You do not have to pay back a student allowence though there are limits on the amount of cash you can earn in a part time job. basically its free money. Student Living costs is something different. You can borrow up to $155 a week which is added to your student loan. There is no limits to what you can earn whilst studying. I live and study in a different city to my parents as my degree can only be earned in Wellington. My parents earn over 85K combined per annum so I am NOT eligible for the free student allowence and have to get the student living costs (even though my parents do not help me out financially at all). I also work part time as the living costs barely covers my rent. I think this is a very shitty system. I don't think parents should have to pay their kids way though uni and I don't see why the government expects them to. I think either everyone should be entitled to the allowence or everyone should have to get the living costs. Students should not be discriminated against based on what there parents earn. I will have to pay back an extra $15,000 over my 3 year degree than someone whosse parents earn below $75K

The new wheels look awesome. Good purchase!

Colour looks a bit different in these shots

Thanks tastic, it is a cool colour. I haven't seen any others around in mineralblue but I'm sure they are somewhere
-
Thats my car. It looks to be a different colour though. My car looks a bit different now with basketweaves and europlates

Union Hardware on Riddiford Street (By the Caltex) in Newtown is the only place i could find that did it. They mixed my E30's colour (mineralblau) from the paint code. price was around $30 for a can plus a little touch up pottle. Dean

I can see my families house in the background of that photo

Hi guys I live in Wellington in an upstairs flat with no yard and was wondering if anyone know sof any places in Wellington you can go and pay to use hoses to clean your car? I'd rather not use a petrol station car wash. Untill recently i've been cleaning my e30 weekly my sisters flat but she has just moved out and into an apartment. Cheers
