Thanks Ryan. I usually am a bit of a perfectionist and have worked hard to keep this car very tidy. I will also work hard to get rid of the cloudiness especially since it is only a small patch. I don't think a roof respray is on the cards as its only a 320i auto (albeit an otherwise exceptionally tidy one with no dash cracks or rips in the seats) and I don't plan on keeping it forever.

The new wheels going on must be good if they are replacing those!

Thanks for the help Mark. I think i'll give it a clay before the polish.

No need to wax over the top? thanks Graham

Im thinking some of this might do the business: http://www.autoglym.com/enGB/product-proddetail.asp?v06VQ=HD Its $29 on trademe. Would wash, polish with autoglym, then wax be the way to go? Cheers

Thanks guys i'll look into the autoglym polish. I may be wrong but I have heard that Armstrong Prestige in Wellington sell it? Can anyone confirm this?

Ive seen photos of your car looking very tidy before too Mark. What polish do you recommend to restore paint colour? It is not really bad yet but I definatly do not want it getting worse

Can you recommend a decent polish Apex? Will definalty be waxing afterwards. I reguarly wax my car but haven't polished it since I've had it. Thanks for your help.

I've recently noticed that the paint (Mineralblau) on the roof of my e30 has turned faded and "cloudy". My question is would cutting compound or a clay bar be the best option to return the shine? Thanks Dean

Cool 7. Love the colour!

I reckon go for some 15" BBS weaves. All red tail lights and colour coded bumpers would also make a huge difference. Do what ever makes YOU happy though! Good luck

Do S3's usually have such a plain interior?
-
i think its approx $14 to get new plates (non-personalised) if you "lost" your old ones. Then you would have to pay to get the europlates as well
-
Awesome colour. Def one of my favourites
-
That e34 is very very nice. Just needs a nice leather interior and euro plates to finish it off imo.
-
Looks very cool. Love the black and the interior. AND the wheels. Some europlates with the black sides would look good. Dean

I spotted a very nice silver 2002 touring driving out towards lower hutt from Wellington the other day. Very cool!!!

Awesome. I love e34's. Nice colour! nice rims!

This is definitely one of my favourite e30's. Cloth or leather interior? Recaro?
-
Thats a seriously cool RS2!

I'd like to know this too. JG BMW told me you can just get some stuff from spotlight but when I went in there I couldn't find anything suitable and the shop assistants were no help. Other people have suggested just using thick plastic rubbish bags or sheets and duct taping it in. I think the real deal would work a lot better though Dean

I know its blasphemy but I'm finding the new shots of Nick021's 323i very appealing too! Interior looks in good shape, thanks for posting the pics! You should give the leather a good going over with some conditioner to get it looking mint.

I'm really not a fan of all that carbon fibre trim. Yours is definatly the win visually! (though I'm not totally opposed to the yellow or the beige vaders)
