I thought some of you may be interested in this info I found on the net explaining the origin of the ///M colours. I'm sure some of you already know. With regards to the red, a lot of people say it actually represents BMW's relationship with Castrol, rather than Texaco. Apparently Castrol was mentioned in a Roundel issue I'm not making any claims regarding the accuracy of this information so don't flame me personally if you think its wrong or you've heard different!

I like your logic too. It will be awesome to see a touring racer. I'm not sure about the colour scheme. Maybe you could run a competition and see who could design the best one for you. Dean

Weeeee update I thought I would post up a few more pics of my car since I have done a couple of small things to it since last time. So far I've: - Added a Tech1 steering wheel - Got some BBS basket weaves - Added europlates - Kept the maintenance etc up I've only added factory options as the plan for this car is to keep it pretty stock. Eventually I want to buy an M325i or an e30 cab and spend all my money on that. I apologies for the poor image quality and my complete lack of photo taking ability

That's what I was basing my "genuine M325i" comment on. I had just been reading the sticky under the General Discussion section of the forum which mentioned that: M325i I don't want to get into a debate about what is or isn't an M325i. I would only be repeating what I had read anyway. At the end of the day I think it looks like an awesome car and I would love to own it regardless. Hopefully someone on here will pick it up. Trademe isn't working for me either at the moment so can't post up any pics sorry

It says its had an engine replacement as well which came from a lower K's car. I agree that its an awesome looking car, though I do think you could get it for a bit cheaper. Genuine M325i's can go for that sort of money.
