bad luck dude. atleast your pretty much ok.
Andy, it is surprisingly normal for people to hit directly the middle of what they are trying to avoid. They realise they are going to hit a tree or whatever and stare straight at it. You should look at where you want to go, not where you don't want to hit.

You can't say one is better than the other unless you know what the situation is and what your trying to achieve, obviously if you car has a real good top end but nothing down low a supercharger makes much more sense, just as if you car runs out of grunt higher in the rev range a turbo would give better results.

I thought there was a difference with bellhousing for motronic and L-Jet? How hard is it to modify the bellhousing for the sensors?
-
Haven't driven the others but I C-drives get my vote, best tires I've driven on. A few guys on here have Dunlop direzzas and are happy with them. Do a search, theres are quite a few threads on tires.

No bias at there ay emma, I'd agree with you after hearing the CSL's 6, sounds like nother else in the world. But italian V8's are amazing! Ferrari new F430, oh my god... brought a tear to my eye just hearing it on TV (Do i need help?)You can't beat the sound of a BMW 6 or 8.
Rotaries are ok apart from when the cutties and chromies brigade put huge great exhausts on them. Keep rotas quiet please guys.
As for american/aussie V8s, I don't care that they might be unrefined, i don't care they don't have variable valve timing, dohc etc. No matter what revs or throttle they you get the feeling they are capable of eating small children. I want big f**k off cams in a big f**k off shiny v8 so that my entire car shakes at the lights.

Dam, your probably right, my student laon interest will be around $40 per week straight out of uni, thats about what my tax cut will be? Never thought of it like that. You will have more money if you voted National (assuming you earn $35k+).
Still, I just don't like national, particularly Brash. Don't like labour either but they still get my vote to keep national or whatever coalition they form with NZF out.

Yip, time waster, did the same to when i asked about some bits. Wouldn't bother with him. That wheel is cheap though. If any one but that guy on trade me has one...
I txted him rang him n talked to him then he did nothing and didnt reply to the txts so dunno if i can be bothered dealing with him

Nah they aren't that quick, same as a 325i. Like I said in the my other post, sure they have good power above 5000rpm but nothing below that. I've driven both and liked the M20 2.5 way more for the street. H22A is good when its in Vtec but unless your on the track difficult to keep it in Vtec bimmer has the advantage on the launch as well.
Andy's car should easily beat a stock prelude.
Dunno what you on about with the gearing you reckon they have, they only rev to 7200 or something and have shorter gearing than my car. My mates prelude and my 318 have the same top speed in each gear, only his gets there way faster than i do. (i'm running 3.91 diff btw)

juzzie has E30 M3 and some other guy has a M coupe
There aren't many though
-
don't forget the BMW would have heaps more torque though, both peak and throughout the rev range. Still think the teg would win, but not by much
-
96 ain't a have. My car runs way worse on 91.
Mavrick- if you want run it on 91 for a while, if you notice it knocking, running way worse or anything like that then obviously just stick to 96. If you can't tell any difference then stay with the 91

Yeah thats your problem, asking them for advice. Seriously half the people on this board would have more of a clue. Just go in knowing what you want. I had one idiot try and tell me my subs would use more power if my power cable was too big. Serious.
Believe it or not Ripco is better than supercheap, (sorry ryan, might be different up in aucks)
If you want decent advice just stick to the small privately owned shops.

Leave the chrome.
I was talking about your pchop job.You wouldn't.. i don't even think it is legal is it?
BTW it is illegal, only allowed a strip across the top.
-
You sticking with a 250 for license reasons? Otherwise why bother with a 250? You'll just want more grunt soon. That said the RR models are cool. I'll give it to you there something cool about revving to 19'000 (i know the kawasakis do, not sure about the CBRs)

have at look at some of Ian's old posts, he's listed the gains from his. As gus said he has some nice ones that gave really good gains. His is a 2.3 6cyl and only has 4 cobys on it (2 per pipe)
-
Why would you bother tinting the front?
-
meh, just look my sig.
About time for a new one actually
-
Hmmm, I was thinking it was just the temp sensor playing up. And as andy said just a old radiator not able to keep up. I did a coolant flush/change about a month and thermostat seemed to be working fine. I'll check it out though,Sound like faulty or missing thermostat. Running the engine in a constant "cold" state will cause premature engine wear.
Cheers
EDIT: Not sure if it matters but heater is working normally.
-
Mine normally sits around 1/4 but if I'm going up a steep hill or giving it atrash it creeps up to 1/2. Still on its first radiator as far as i know. Anything to worry about?

Do it! way better performance pad and rotor choice
plus discs look better than shithouse drums. only use for drums is handbrakes.
Gus- drum MC could be a bit of fun with discs on the back
(on the track of course)
-
Its only the trailing arms that you need to change, and the lines of course as well. Not sure about the MC, bias could be different.
There are two different e30 front brakes, vented and soild. Not sure what else is different other than the disks.

I like those wheels, make it look way more modern. Keep the crome window trim
aswell.
There no way you'd pick that car is over ten years old.
Oil change and spark plugs!
