I hate you.Fastest car i have driven.... cant wait for the M6
-
I need to get some of these as well so if someone wanted to order a few sets to save on freight let me know. I don't have PS but i reckon at highway speeds the steering is too light anyway.
-
Has happened to me before as well. Would it be possible to drill a small hole near the end of the sway bar aand put a split pin in to hold the link on?
-
But he went with link ECU...

Plenty of people have done the swap, like the guy who posted just above you.I did it myself, the getrag 260 or any box from a 6 cly e30 for that matter fits fine just rotates the box about 10 degrees
-
Tried it both ways and that facing towards the back of the car sounds the best.

Hi guys. Time to change my setup so I'm selling my 2 kenwood tornado 12" subs and a sealed box for them. 700W Max and 175W RMS for each sub. I'll also chuck in the grills and the false panel that covers the box. The box is a perfect fit between the rear guards . I'm not sure what else this will fit but I'll get some dimensions up soon. If it doesn't sell on here I'll just chuck it on tardme. I'm in ChCh at the moment but back to welly in a month or so. PM if your interested.
Edit- $200 anyone?

:gay: can someone explain the big deal about these?
-
I was pretty sure it was the other way round. The early E30 323i had 139hp but that was later upped to 150hp. I had one of the later 323i (1985) and that was L-jet.

I've said this before but don't waste your money on that engine. Save up a grand and put a 2.5 6cyl and do manual conversion as well.
As for you timing, what year is you car? If it 87 or older you can advance the timing just by turning the dizzy. If its 88 or newer sh*t out of luck

DIY. Only special tools needed are spring compressors (unless you go extra rangi). You'll be able to do it in a morning easy. Don't forget wheel alignment.
-
Sorted.
Cheers Andy.

You carpet black Gus? If so I'll take it.
-
Yeah I'll forgive ya, Happy Bithday anyway.Thank you - London treats me well. Missing the M3 - but am budgeting for nine days of driving it in November. Any one south of Kaikoura and north of Dunedin, I apologise in advance for overtaking you, but time is precious!
Cheers,
J

Like bravo said, if you want mags get them now before you buy new tyres.
You really have to get that thing of steelies though, get some bottles if you cant afford anything better.
If you do decide mags I reckon 16's look the best and tires are cheaper than 17's. Bravo said 17inch tires were cheaper but normally they aren't, however you will find more specials for 17 tires.

Can someone confirm that about the M10 240 box bolting up to the M30? A medium case diff could be put in but how long would the box last?
Does anyone have a link to some site where they have a list of engine weight, power, torque etc.
-
Doesn't matter, a E30 6cyl box will work with M50 fine. E30 boxes would be cheaper and more common as well.
-
Just get an alarm, they'll be able to hook it up to work the central locking. Thats how mine works, I don't even have the control unit for the central locking. Looking at around $500 for a decent alarm installed.
-
Apparently even E30's are quite expensive over there still. Family came over from aussie couldn't believe I was driving round in one. They don't get jap imports on anywhere near the scale that we do.

ACS 6

No.
Colour combo just aint working and that boot lid is terrible, suppose thats not ACS fault though.
Like Grant said, should be in autosalon.
-
Hi guys. I know a few of you have these lying around. Just want a bigger front sway to match the one in the rear...
Cheers

Right so I'll put some Tasmin Bitter in a bottle that says kronenburg and charge you three times the price.yeah but image, brand etc, affect my brain, which does affect how they taste, so it its legit to buy based on what my brain tells me.
-
Come to think of it, I forgot that Warsteiner was a good drop too, used to buy it in 24 bottle plastic trays, good sh*t.
The monteiths Radler isn't a bad drop for a sunny afternoon
Radler isn't the one that taste like half lemonade? If so I thought that was a terrible beer.
You guys obviously need to have some Real Beer
Did anyone see a doco a while ago about beer tasting? They got 5 guys who reckoned they knew there beers. Blindfolded them, and gave them a range of beers, from ranfurly to corona. Anyway barely any other them could tell what each beer was. Point was most people buy beer based on image and advertsing and make up their mind from that.

Sounds like I really do need some, wouldn't be surprised if mine are original. Steering wheel shakes when I brake, not a nice feeling. (Its not rotors BTW). Anyway I'll start a thread in group buys if anyone else is keen to get some.
