Those Simota Intakes are $150 brand new from Broomfish NZ, well thats what I paid for it in 06. And heads up, the idle control valve, throttle position sensor and intake boot parts are all new from BMW last year. Good luck.

Do you go to the movies?? We get 30-40 free, movie tickets a year with FlyBuys, free movies is good. Might look at AA rewards as I would like to run 98 and BP has good Coffee. Scrap that. It costs $89 a year to become an AA member to get an AA rewards card, Flybuys is free and we get lots more free sh*t. Will stick with Shell Flybuys and go to BP for Coffee.

Seeming we don’t have random pictures thread for random cars…. JDM. European. Yank. Go hard. Just put it in here and we will all stand back and admire. Sorry. Its Jap. But it looks mean as. Some AMG Action. And an E30

It does seem to have a CSL ‘trunk’ and some big brakes….but yea. Got any more pics and info.

Would be quite obvious you were travelling at 120 in the North Island as only a very small amount of motorists travel at those speeds anymore, the majority don’t even crack 100. No sh*t. True story. I kid you not. Ten years ago 120 was what I travelled at if I didn’t want to get pulled over. Seems we are slowing down. Maybe the advertisements are working.
-
Yea, that is correct, some magazines test for speedometer error and publish it in their stats list. I generally fall victim to the cruise control set at 110 trap, drives me nuts. I find backroads are the only way to travel in NZ if you want to maintain speed..
-
V-Power. Shell have FlyBuys.
-
All cars are 7-10kph out on the speedometers, it’s a safety feature. I thought this was common knowledge. If you can access yours cars dealer menu you will see the real vehicle speed displayed against the speedometers.

I would fit this front to it, would be real Alpina style then
-
Ahhh that's how it works. The EBC were near $300 from memory, they do work well and are fine for a E30 IMHO.
-
I thought the series cars had to run EBC?
-
The car next to this monstrosity. 20v GTI's go OK, you can get them going much harder though!

It’s not a BMW driver Training day it’s a BMW Car Club Of NZ driver day.. Missus did the proper BMW driving day through work and got a few laps in a CSL back when they were new, im still jealous.
-
You can’t really compare but I have the 1166 in the Renault and they didn’t go off the whole day at either Pukekohe, Hampton or Taupo, they do wear quite fast though and make a lot of noise on the road, had had no problems with cold braking on the road. The Touring had EBC red stuff which I found to be very good, never had them overheating and they put out bugger all dust.

Some nice cars is right. Love the Z4 M Coupe, and is that a NZ new 325i SE I SEE? Did you have a go Simon?] Edit: Wrote the wrong write, right.

Choice car. What colour is that? Welcome.
-
Good sh*t, nice progress indeed. Jealous of your shocks and springs. Not jalousie of bearing removal. Looked a real bastard. What colour is it going?
-
x2 That is perfect. Got any more info on it? What are the wheels on it?
-
True. To much beer. Come to think of it was Botany downs on Wednesday.. car still looks good.
-
You in Papakura. Car looks good!

I would say your best bet is to source some mint second hand carpets, both E30’s I have had have had absolutely mint carpets so im guessing there would be plenty out there, sedan and touring will be the same. Call Ray at Hell BMW. If you want new an auto trimmer can re-trim the stock foam underlay with new carpet.

McLaren F1 GTR runs a BMW M Engine. And that Volvo Engine Rota posted is in a Opel of all cars. I can understand how the Renault engine is intimidating to a BMW fan, the BMW Sauber car now runs a Ferrari engine so bad was BMW’s engineering skills I removed it for you, now back to gay M20's

I know it’s a picture thread but meh. This needs to be seen to appreciate the above. 720p with sound up…. hhhwwwooooooo

This. I have three coats of wax on mine. Not polish Jono, polish is not a protectant Once waxed they are easy to keep clean if you do it once a week, use a quick wax after a clean also. Dont use wheel cleaners, they take wax off!
