Shows how safe heavy newer vehicles with safety cells are doesn’t it, an old Civic would be mince. Who needs a cage. I have seen similar spins with un scrubbed Toyo’s, easy enough. Would recommend a good back road hoon to the track on new tyres to scrub them up as much as possible. Have also seen two FWD VW’s hit that wall. Never lift off on that crest eh. Cheers for the Giff.

Renaults have factory rattles for no extra cost. A car is only as new as the parts fitted to it, like a good pare of jeans some ware better than others. Cant beat Brand New.

You'll just have to be there haha, it looks like its going to a bloody good turnout of Euro’s, a good mix of cars. Cant wait. Its on Sunday so come have a look, there will be pleanty going on. The Megane is getting a birthday at Archibald & Shorter, or should I say Archibald and shorter are having a birthday with the Megane.. -
What gave it away, the mirror shadow or the lacklustre looking driver.

Good stuff Ian, look forward to seeing you and you beast there! -
I recognise that brown Levin from about ten years ago, a whole group of Japanese guys used to convoy in them, we used to stalk them out to the drift spots/drags. If it’s the same car of course. On a completely unrelated note. It should be said that as awesome as us car enthusiasts are we should never be pictured in any car photo’s because as soon as you see who is associated with some of the cars in question they instantly become uncool due to their trainer wearing hooded drivers.. Some TT

Helps with torque transfer, why buy snow chains this winter, I fitted mine and traction in the snow was amazing, best winter mod I ever did. true story. I had mine fitted by a sign writer, took him a whole day and would have been much easier had we had a hoist.

Where to go in Auckland for aftermarket Exhausts (2009 135i)?
Apex replied to fatjoez's topic in Performance
He does not know and doesn't care, he just said its part of the 15kw upgrade kit. Why do you want to replace your mid-pipe anyway, it's the least restrictive part of the system? Or is yours damaged?? -
anyone in auckland do lighting mods like daytime LEDS?

Yuck, leave it for the VAG boys. -

http://www.bmw.co.nz/com/en/owners/accessories/performance/ Mate has NZ highest spec 135i with all these goodies fitted, sounds the muts nuts and is top quality. Has not been dyno tested though. -
f**k me those wheels are hot. I like em alot. Did you colour code the centers?

BMW M5 and Audi RS4 boy racer?? Looks like the southern Auckland motorway, thousands of sh*t cars doing 85kph in all three lanes.

Well done. I have just taken out comprehensive Health insurance with a international insurance company after reading this tragic story, made sure I found a company who will pay for any treatment recommended by any specialist, they would even fly me overseas if it want available here. A lot of the local company’s wont offer this.

I sold my faulty E39 528i last year for $4,000 because the attention it needed to be 95% superseded what a E39 528i is honestly worth, the fellow I sold it to is still trying to get second hand parts for it that are simply not available. To have an airbag explode un expectedly is quite major mate, all parts need/should be replaced with new ones because as far as I know they are individual to the computer that controls them. Would insurance cover this??
-
Assuming it was in the 528i E39? Mine did a few things but that takes the cake, your poor wife! Claim under warrantee mate and have the car thoroughly looked at as that is seriously dangerous, I would almost say write the car off as parts. PS: Up the Irons.

The new Manthey Racing GT3 will take it out again, they have it down packed! NZ needs better coverage of this event.. Attn SKY, can we have a motorsport channel to replace the Rugby Chanel? Thanks Apex

Most pampered would go to M3POWR, that car is like brand new.

I don’t know, it does comes back to what you spend, if you make an effort to use it you get good rewards. The missus and I share one account, I spend maybe $100 a month on gas where she spends $400, and we use the card at the supermarket and when buying electronics from certain retailers, bills etc, it does work out well. Would get an AA card but we have Road Side Rescue from State and they give us Flybuys so yea, much of a muchness maybe.
