    Clay. Cut. Polish. Wax.
  3. Firhawks will last for ever. Do a skid. I had Toyo T1R’s on the Touring and it only went around once and that was on the track…..in front of Glenn from Botany Motor Worx. They were a fantastic tyre. Im 99% sure the Michelin save fuel save the environment tree huger tyres someone fitted to my car are the reason its ratshit in the wet.
  4. I don’t doubt that, im just saying take it easy on the launches is all, a car has factory parameters for a reason, don’t believe that near 100nm came from just emissions detune liberation, most would come from an increase in turbo boost and timing. I have seen stock components sh*t the bed when given a dollop of extra torque, especially when you have big tyres and awd, something has to give.
  5. They claim a 45bhp and a massive 97nm increase so I wouldn’t be surprised you noticed the difference. Joys of Turbo cars. Best part is you can take it back to stock whenever you want. I would take it easy on the launches though as an extra 97nm may be pushing things towards the threshold of your driveline components.
  6. There is a mint one in Papakura with a genuine 50k km. Its immaculate. Downside is that it’s the poo’s and wee auto 1G-GTE.
  7. 180k. you may be correct as I swear BMW wouldn’t have let this out of the factory as is, its not locked but it’s far from progressive.
  8. The Touring was safe as houses with the extra weight and open diff, im amazed at the difference between the two cars that’s for sure, its black and white. Must be the gearing and the light rear end. I haven’t driven a car that bites your hand as hard as this does, its looser than some big power Japanese cars I have driven with a measly 120 odd kw, you seriously have to concentrate driving it faster in the wet. It is fun as all hell though, it’s been years since I have driven a car that makes my hands shake!
  9. Privately owned. First car 1985 Corolla GT NZ ME383. Toyota Cressida Inherited 1986 Toyota Corolla (still have it as a spare car) Nissan Primera GT Honda Integra VS Holden Commodore .. Im missing a couple of $500 dunger in there somewhere. ****personal internet connection and Photobucket account**** Lexus IS200 Toyota Corolla GT NZ To replace #1 that I killed. Toyota IST (5,000km) Astra SRI-T (New) Inherited BMW E39 528i BMW M325i (1990) BMW 545i Vectra CDXi 3.2V6 E30 320i Renault Megane F1.
  10. Must admit my E30 with the LSD has caught me twice already. I have to be very very carful on the go pedal in the wet in first second gear. This is the culprit im thinking. Must have been lol watching lawyers and bankers spin there M325is in the 80's on 80's speck tyres. I was told they are tail happy but its beyond a joke. I swear it is trying to kill me.
  11. The Red is an EVO. That is the nicest E30 I have ever seen in NZ. I have said there would be over 100 E30 M3’s in NZ and been shot down for saying it but I still would imagine close to that number, they are far from rare.
  12. That car Manual with better optioned wheels would be sold I recon. The Dash would take some adjusting too though, 1970’s style dash in a 1990 car.
  13. I think I spotted you in one of those scenes Glenn Nice Video. Thanks for sharing.
  14. Lol that ES Flanner was wicked, it pissed of the camera crew as they had to pack all there sh*t up and relocate. Nice photo's Heath, look forward to ES Targa Camp 2010.
  15. Wow Dakar and Tan. Really
  16. If you go a size like Jono recommends it wont effect ride quality bugger all, the added grip and style will make up for it. IMHO OEM 19†wheels look fantastic on them, if fitted on a 745/750i with the dynamic sway bars they actually have the car driving quite sporty.. well as sporty as 2 tonn car with no gear leaver can get.

    E30 M325i

Yep. Try loosing nearer 20k in two years on a brand new car.

    E30 M325i

Well looking at the pre facelift M325i’s that have been for sale in recent times and the amount of time it has taken them to move im saying 6.5-7.5k. It does strongly depend on condition though.
  19. Good luck with that one
  20. Bugger. Was it a DOCH Turbo AWD?? We actually commented on that car after it went past us in Onehwero saying it must be hard finding decent parts for the older cars. Would be even harder finding a decent shell for an old rusty Laser. You mustn't have been alone though as there were quite a few cars missing on the afternoon run.
  21. How much do you you want to spend?
  22. So we cant recommend one at all?
  23. Give him a call he's a good punt. He may be able to tell you who has bought them off him or get you one quicker. The ones like Glenns are closer to $400.
