They did an AMG Galant VR4, thats a rare car.

Lol, im going to add brand names of all the expensive parts I have fitted on my rear screen above the existing ELF Lubricants sticker to add to the rice.. Although the Megane, Focus and Type-R’s are actually fast so not rice.. the F1 stickers are a bit rice.. I would love a new shape Type-R civic, we drove the first one to arrive in NZ back in 06 before we purchased a Astra Turbo, it was $55,000, that’s a hell of a lot for a Civic.
-
Good Sounds are not rice.

You are approaching this with a funny attitude, you’re selling a product and we are purchasing it off you so you can make a profit? A lot of us will say we are “keen†because we don’t want to jump in and buy something that is rubbish sight unseen of a stranger that has just joined a forum! Do you have any for us to look at? When will they be here?

And people who think 4wd make’s a car handle better...WTF!

Quaife are nice.. Just fitted mine, progressive and smooth. Those brakes are hot!!

Lol, driving the easy prey tri-hard looking F1 stickered Megane I have lots of Jap boy racers externalling or fluttering at me prompting a race on the high way all the time! Love it, they even try it when my Grandma or Mum is in the front seat I had some Dori Dori tosser in a Siliver try egg-me-on to race him the other day, I was next to him on a bumpy part of SH1 and every rut nearly sent him sideways due to his D-Spec suspension and stretchy tyres so I didnt encourage him.. I signalled him to follow me off at Mercer hoping he would follow me up to Pukekawa but he wasn’t keen to play on some backroads.. What pisses me off is the people who spend thousands and thousands on making their car 3 million Kw but don’t attend track days or any other event so they can show us what there masive Turbo or V8 WIP beasts can do, have mates with big power cars and all of them see boosting down the main street or attending a dyno day as the main purpose of all their cars power, f**king queens

Any stiffness and rigity you can dial into a E30 (or any old car) would be quite beneficial, they are an old car and by modern standards a soggy biscuit, you can dial in as much stiffness to the suspension as you want but it’s only going to emphasize the lack of stiffness in the body so I can see the braces as a good upgrade. TBH the higher spec E30’s are a well set up and balanced car from the factory so most suspension modifications are going to yield less dramatic results than if fitted to a less engineered focused car, they will sharpen things up but it won’t be black and white. Seeming these sway bars come with bushes it makes it quite an economical and valuable upgrade, nine out of ten E30’s will have stuffed sway bar bushes. Had I not spent money on fitting my stock sways mount and link points with Nolithane I would be in with a grin, was a very notable improvement. I can imagine a stiff sway front and rear coupled with a front strut bar should have the already precise turn in razor sharp but will have the down side of making the car quite twitchy so it will be a compromise. But im no expert only speaking from the few cars I have owned and tuned.. Happy to pay a dep on a tower brace.

I hate when I run out of Coffee beans and have to drink instant sh*t.

X2. Just fitted new Pirelli P Zero’s to the Megane, they are slippery at the moment as they have only done 40km.. Will wear them in on the weekend, a good launch should have them ready for action... maybe a gravel road to rub up the rears.
-
Yea it would be great, but a small mater of the shelving that would be a bugger to modify and there is no side entrance to the strut towers throgh the steel so looking at it, it would be impossible to fit one… Would make a nice difference I would suspect. The Strut tower is under the seat belt jack mount… looking at that photo is enough to make me realise I never want to take that shelving out again and work anywhere near the strut towers, im still scard from last time, what a bitch of a job.
-
Interesting Incary, I have seen most of the race cars have strut tower bars so assumed it was beneficial is all. Im so tempted to get a rear one and spend a weekend trying to fit it, I wonder if they are the same dimensions. Would be a good time to DynaMat the trunk
-
No it doesn’t. Fact

House of Colour Candy Red is one of my favourite colours, had I the money I would paint a car this colour. Shits all over anything OEM on any car.
-
Id take a front tower bar... shame I cant put one in the back.
-
Yay!!!!!!! Go the mighty Pug.

X2. Would be worth a look, I have only seen it once and its not too bad. Has had two owners in the short time since Ray selling it though

Nice, Few K spent and its my cars brother. Its a 320i, NZ new in Lacs Silver. Can see the confusion, it’s a similar picture..

VR6's rock, they have one of the best exhasut notes money can buy, they are well built and tastfully styled, especially with the BBS wheel option. Better than the Mk4 Golf GTI IMO, the 1.8 20V GTI is only 110kw.
-
For the record, 210kw at the engine is the limit for a FWD car, any more and you go slower. Its a basic formula and some FWD's can only handle Half that, 210kw in a Toyota Corolla would be pointless but would work in a new Mazda 3. I don't understand the show seen, if you want to show off buy a classic American car, throw all the mods that Honda has at a Hot Rod and you'd have a cool car that you would actually drive on the road. Edit, typed after a few big bottles of Coopers Sparkling Ale, nice drop!

An Italian M3. Do want, those wheels are nice as.

No offence taken squire. I’d say 99% of us have modified cars. Im loving this new Class system idea for Bimmersport, we already have a King in the form of his majesty Karl, the inspiration for this joyous thread Just sore a mint Mazda RX3 drive past with what looked like some form of window doily

The latest rice mod of 2009, d*ck smith LED upgrade. I saw a Commodore last night that had about 4m of led strips stuck in random places, looked like a painting of an Audi done by Picasso.
-
Purists? I don’t get ya, there are tons of mint modified BMW’s on Bimmersport, im sure us purists can attest to that, this isn’t the BMW car club. #2) Stockings over exterior lights, it’s a light designed to let other people know your indented actions and not a women’s legs. Chrome has its place and can be done properly, maybe a guideline as to done properly would be helpful.

I drink one sugar free a day at 2.30pm, I have worked out that is optimum intake time.
