Lol at don’t like comments. I mean, look at what you drive people, this thing would rip its head off and sh*t awesome down its throat whilst flirting with your mother. One mean machine, like the WTCC guards.

f**king Honda’s. Nicely avoided SIR. Looks way soft in the front.

It’s a sexy car, so so small, I couldn’t figure out how to get in it, would have taken me all wek, he came in third in class, it’s a long week and sh*t happens, he knocked the back in a bit on the first day, because its valued at $300,000 so im not sure that he is perhaps pushing as hard as it could go, could be wrong though. The GTR’s are mammoth, I followed one through one stage and had to back off simply because I couldn’t see around it, bloody fast on the wide stuff. Whagamomona was my highlight stage, 35km of twisty roads, manages to rip the rubber clean off one of my R888’s and was on a second set of tyres on the third day, and that’s just the tour, the week is absolute hell on cars, my windscreen would have near 1000 chips as does my bonnet and bumpers, my mags are now silver and black and the interior has developed multiple rattles. After near 3000km in one week it hadn’t used a single drop of oil though and mechanically it didn’t miss a beat, it did drink 400L of 98 though. Im thinking a roll cage and race seats are the best way to fix the rattles. Watch this space. Sponsors welcome.

RE OP. No point if you like back roads. Fail

Lots and lots of BMW’s at Targa, in the main event and in the awesome Tour that I was driving in. We were at the pointy end of the pack and were keeping company and keeping honest a E39 M5, E91 M3 a E60 M5 and to my surprise a 3.0L Z4 that was on pace with all the M cars, I wouldn’t underestimate a Z4 again, the ZM M must fly on NZ roads but maybe not, I think the M cars are a bit stiff and low on the kiwi roads. Amongst all the BMW’s following us we were chasing down a 2010 Porsche Cayman S converted/upgraded to RS spec, the thing was rapid as f**k, the owner was a good sort and upgrading it to 400bhp. Didn’t take a camera here a few random’s form my phone. Whangamommana Made it to Wellington. Cayman RS did but needed a new radiator due to a large rock. Overnight from Auckland Fitted in 23 minutes at $400 a hour labour cost. Met up with with the beautiful Alpine for a couple of shoots the way out of wellington, such a pretty little car.

Turtle Wax Tar and Bug remover. I purchased a bottle 8 years ago and its still going strong. Works a real treat, so so easy. Good investment.

This. If money was no object.

Mercedes Benz is aiming to have every model turbo charged by 2015. They sure did LHD only. Would be a nice car with a proper gear shifter.

I concur. Embrace technology or get left behind sounding ignorant. I can’t afford one either but im not about to bag it, the E39 was heavier than the E34 and yet felt lighter and better balanced, the E60 was heavier again than the E39 and yet was better balanced and even more responsive. Like all previous M5’s this new car will be number one in its class from the first one produced to the last, its only after they stopped making the E60 that Jag took its number one spot with the XFR and this new M5 will be a powerful response to that. Logs out dreaming of 600+NM at 2000rmp and no rear mufflers

True, a lot of modern-ish cars actually have very well tuned factory stereos, it’s not so much the quality of the speaker itself but the way it has been fitted and tuned to work harmonically in the car, I ripped all my factory stuff out of the Reno and replaced it with high end $$$ speakers and amps and it actually sounded worse than the low power factory stuff at normal listening level, sure it sounded great really loud but that is useless for everyday driving, especially with passengers in the car, I resorted back to the factory set up and am much happier. A simple base cannon or standalone unit is the easiest way to do things, doesn’t wreck factory trim and can be recycled, I had a JBL unit in a wagon years ago and it was great.

They did a crap job at re-aligning the panels, especially the boot, looks like it has been rear ended.

+1. My design machine doesn’t even have a CD drive, all USB connections. My Macbook Pro’s CD drive is temperamental at the best of times, actually so is the USB input so eliminating both works for me, just need to finish backing up my CD collection before the upgrade!

Turbo+Turbo+V8 can only be good.

I ask the question, what else would you use that shade of paint for? Its only a shitty old E46, would claim insurance buy one of 10,000 more the same.

How does having a quality sound system make you a boy racer? Bar the poor carpet colour match that install on the blue X5 above looks nice, but you wouldn’t go raised floor unless you were using multiple amps for a big system. Personally I don’t see the point in upgrading one element of a system as it will only emphasise how crap the rest of the system is. I would look at one of these, it’s the simplest, cleanest and easiest solution and as you like to change about it can be removed and used in your next vehicle. http://www.paulmoney.co.nz/shop/car-subwoo...powered-sub-box 2c.

I dont have the attention span to read the entire post. Have had the near same type of accident myself only the motorcyclist was a learner and had had two beers at the pub, he lost a mirror and I gained a big dent in my door, because he was a learner and had been drinking we both went our separate ways no details swapped. Could have gone a different way though. Morel is. Motorcycles are dangerous buy a car instead.

Best car audio shop with best prices

I was sure the R716 still had quite a few colours to switch through. Pioneers interface is still crap, most are, I still prefer to control tracks through my I-Pod, most intuitive way by far, I have just resorted back to a basic AUX input on mine. -
150bhp is less than a stock 325i, I think they are more like 150kw.

Lol, dans (DRFTIT) car is in one of the photo's and yours truly in the Targa supplement pull out. Quite handy to have with all the maps etc.

Or just work harder and have both! Korea, well its a new track and looking at it its quite slow so no team really has the car advantage, I'm thinking Hamilton biased on raw ability.

Does suck they moved it to Sky, I missed a few seasons because of that, took me three years to justify buying Sky just to watch F1, I essentially pay $80 a month just so I can watch it, thats near a Grand a year, I can go to a race with that MY-Sky is good though, because of the time zone differences I it would be easy to miss practise and qualifying sessions, not so when it’s all season linked, I can watch it when I want and never miss a thing, the practise rounds are well worth watching too. Can’t wait for Korea, it’s going to be an interesting race considering none of the teams have raced there.

Seems expensive Tom.
