    Full E30 lock set

Hehe, get rid of the door tumblers and use keyless entry from an alarm or something...
  2. CB radio for NZD$120, affirmative
  3. Hey JD, nice set of wheels - you will cop some flak although if you lower it with 18's you'll be sweet , clear indicators are all good EDITED: BTW, your car will probably lick most E30's here, but don't boast about it
  4. Yeah guys, walkie-talkies are the latest MUST HAVE for bimmersport, esp. when ppl go flying off ahead on the motorway and don't know when to turn left!!! Good fun
  5. I'm running 20 with 7.5's EDITED: In fact, you cn see by my sig pic that with 205's they only just snuggle under the arches
  6. Hey J.D. welcome to the dark side, pull up a seat and tell us more about your ride

    SI road trip

J, if you can't get your car warranted then you can pawn rides from anyone going. I'm guessing i'll be organising this trip if ppl want to go, i'll be definately doing this even if it's alone b/c I haven't seen all of NZ yet simply b/c I haven't done the west coast yet. My mission will be backpacking in Nelson, on the west coast, and perhaps Queenstown. Have friends in Dunners and a brother in Chch so those cities are sweet.
  9. Finally you can     :puke: legally
  10. Thnaks Glenn. I'm just like eveyone else, I just want to get the best out of my pride and joy.
  11. So let me see if this is right, in theory if you had adjustable shocks you wouldn't want to set them too firm so as the shock does the spring work, and not too soft so as the the car bounces So how does one find this zone?
  12. Just an update, I got my memebership on sat, got the great little sticker right there slap bang in the middle of my rear window
  13. Well, i'm no longer a virgin viewer BTW: Does anyone in the BS club have any transplants of this sort???
  14. Gus, would you then say that there is a *best* setting for matching the shocks to the springs??? How would you know when you've got the shocks too hard or too soft???
  15. Nuts, how did he fit that sucker in...a 5 litre v12, man that'd rip ricers to shreds!!1! :mosh: :mosh: :mosh:
  16. I'd suggest getting your new shocks in first then see what happens before worrying about the springs...
  17. Just out of curiousity, given the spring rate of the Jamex or King sprigns is higher than the stock springs, does using the higher spring rate with stock shocks have a negative effect on handling???
  18. FYI - Here's the rear view...god damn that's bad ass

    Happy Birthday Gus

My sentiments to the legendary shoestring man, happy 19th
  20. Rear trailing arms, Glenn may have some spare from his E30 cause I think he replaced all his from an E36 to do the stud conversion......
  21. Andy's right, and Gus swears by this, you need good shocks!!!
  22. 20mm ain't much of a drop, you could do the cheap heat compression on some stock springs...

    server slow?

I can confirm that the site is erratic as I check in all day using both 10Mbps and 256Kbps, seems to be affected by daytime traffic more than off peak...
