that residue is just sludge/varnish from mineral oil nasties that have broken down from heat and atomised all over your internals/breathers/cap
-
Haha, lets just say that if you hit the rev limiter in 5th gear with a 3.25 diff you'd be doing 307kph and probably going backwards in time The 4.45 will rev limit at 200kph
-
Haha, funny, and you didn't think to advertise here first? how rude!
-
I've done all my work through Mike at The Surgery, sponsors of the Intermarque sprints. Their work is extremely good but not the cheapest around, is BMWCC affiliated.
-
a daily driver supercar, badass
-
I'm keen for the iS front lip, $250 would be the ideal amount though, $350+ is just raping me
-
Haha, you've got the 4.45 diff by the sounds of it, that puppy will red line in 5th gear
-
I 've hit the red line in 5th gear when I had the 4.45 diff in the car, then went to the 3.25 diff and couldn't accelerate in 5th gear at all
-
Man, you ppl are so lucky you don't have to deal with Shelley's here in Welly, they said they couldn't get the iS lip!

Twisties :finger:It's almost a good rule but it would give police way too much power, banning cell phones is good, but giving someone a ticket simply because a cop thinks they weren't paying attention? I can see the sales of tinted windows going up somewhat
-
Ah yes, that was almost a gimme
-
So then, does eating a burger then constitute as driving distracted?
-
Have a look at this article Link-izzle I can't see it happening as it would open a can of worms, however, there's some merit behind it
-
I just go to the big ugle ornage vtnz in Thorndon, only failed once with a wheel bearing issue and it was quite a bad bearing when it came off.
-
and how would one go about doing that carl? was going to have mine done - but no real point I contemplated it too Andy but figured in a daily driver it would be rather tiresome in trafficE: Besides, the stock clutch is quite sufficient even for intermarque so yeah, no point
-
I was thinking about it but i've got a wedding to attend in Palmy on the 30th and I don't want to be driving to Gisborne on New Years Eve!
-
You might aswell go ahead and do a clutch kit plus slave and master repair kits since you make it out like everything is f**ked Then if you want to lighten the flywheel you can take it somewhere to get machined and balanced while you've go the g/box off aswell as possibly uprating the springs on the clutch plate for a stronger engage.

We all have it and it's either the tappets or injectors doing the tickety tick, however, I would change your oil soon as you don't want to putting some crap brand into your car. See oil threads for that debate though

Talk to Udit about backfires as he's experienced a problem with them in which it blew his entire intake apart so he may have some advice Udit = DCEIVN
-
I always stay with friends, don't you have any friends?
-
Very tidy, you looking for skirts to finish the kit?
-
Could come from a backfire or an accumulation of intake sh*t, my afm needed a good clean as it was layered in gum and other sh*t
