Then i'll stick a Hartge handbrake handel on... I've decided that i'm going to whore everything onto my car, perhaps stick Hamann badges on the front and rear???

South African long range tanks for E30's are quite useful for people with thirsty engines, ie, 2.7's or Twin Turbo's, as it allows them to drive from Wellington to Auckland without the need to refill somewhere along the way As for the light coming on, if it bugs you you could simply disconnect it or remove the led, fuel lights are lying little suckers anyway. Carry some fuel in a bottle and simply drive the car till it runs out of gas, that way you can work out how many k's you can drive from the point the needle hits the rock bottom till it actually runs dry

I should also like to point out, should anyone be interested, I had a chat to Hugh Tunley (Manfeild course marshell) yesterday and he has some unused koni fully adjustable E30 coil over front shocks (I believe they're complete with 51mm strut) that have adjustable strut tower tops for camber adjustments aswell. blk320i, since you appear to want to do your lowering on the cheap you probably don't want to spend any $$$ to do it properly but these are what you need to match Glenn's rear shocks and springs, the entire set would make one very nice ride on the road.

You can't go seriously low without putting in uprated shocks, you'll bounce around like an ADD kid on speed and bottom out like Gus's mum, don't be a half arse, get Glenn's (see above post) rear end parts and find the front end on Tradme to match it. E: Actually, for the front end see next post

I placed a bid on these but thank god someone outbid me, leather seats just aren't practical, period. Leather seats don't look good either when they get tired, easy to clean though.

Hmmmm, I had a 320i auto, I don't anymore Hehehe, mu autobox made some strange noises every now and then, sometimes when you put it into drive or any of the other gears it would make an extremely loud squeltching noise...fix was to move lever to and from park rapidly a couple of times. As for your problem, sounds like oil since that's how the system works, ie, only when in driving gears does it make funny noises. You could replace the oil, it may not be at the correct level and it may not be the correct oil, should be using BMW ATF fluid, red in colour. Drain a little and check to see what comes out. Also, if there's too much or not enough oil that can be detremental to performance. Cheers
