Engine number on the bottom of the csat iron block at the split line with the sump. Its a flat piece cast and stamped about 70mm by 30 mm, on inlet side of motor ( I think )

I have a NZ new 1986 manual E30/320 with 170,000 miles which I've owned for the last 13 years. Car drives really well, is still really tight, the body has a little rust (say $200 to fix).
My son ran up the backside of another car with a tow bar and the insurance company have written to me saying it is not economical to fix and will pay it's current value which is $1,500 less excess.
My first query is does this price sound right ?
My second is to get it back on the road it needs repairs to front panel, bumper, valance/spoiler. It will also need a replacement radiator or current one recored. Any idea of what the bumper, spoiler and radiator would cost. The panelbeater mentioned there are three different raditators for this model so need to make sure I get the right one ??
Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Im quite aware of what you did two months ago my friend !
But im telling you the two at the end are not botls. They are dome shaped and rusted to hell. Its like someone just melted down a lump of rust and put a whacking great dollop of it on there !
If its Tech 1, then it will be the top of the bolts that have rusted away to the core metal of the bolt.
Bring it to me at home when you are next out in the hut, i will get them out.

Hmmmm, Ive got no double sided tape and the ends are definately not bolted, they are rusted solid !
Not that i know about it, but I pulled my one to bits and painted it 2 months ago.
There are 3 bolts, 1 at each end and one in the middle.

So I want to give mine a good clean and take it apart to paint it. Im talking about removing the plastic but from the rubber bit here obviously.
Ive removed the center 'bolt' but the two end ones are completely rusted and I cant tell if they should be bolts or if they are not supposed to be removed.
Any ideas anyone ?
They are bolts, 3 in total. Then also double sided tape to hold in place.

why am i wasting my time? i get them skimmed and they're as good as new and a lot cheaper than $200, they are rear brakes.
And its your neck on the track, Is it worth the $200.00 ??

Got a 1990 e30 2 door shell that I need rid of.
NZ new, No sunroof, Manual windows, no air conditioning, has at the moment Manual steering, No motor or box ( thats why I got it ) Still basicly complete, less the peddals, radiator, etc.
Can send pics to email, PM if any interest, Will dismantle if I cant sell it. Looking for offers.

The water tap is exactly what we are tring to replace because it is naffed!
The heater tap is between the matrix and the pipes coming out of the fire wall , on the cabin side. Its electronic and it may not be working. You may be getting hot water in, but if it doesnt open you have now flow which = no heat.
You need to check if this is working or not. It should open and close via the dash control.

Ive logged in this morning to find the fonts on the main screen are all so tiny its almost unreadble !

The 9mm is only depth, should not matter if you go to 10mm.

Try Seal Imports, give them those dimensions and tell them where its going.
